This is the correct siracha sauce. It has a bright, fresh test that no other sauce has. If you had siracha before the issue where the manufacturer and the farm stopped working together, this is that siracha. All the siracha since has been inferior. This is made by the farm that grew the peppers for the original siracha. These peppers are the key. The color is bright. The flavor is fresh and bright. The amount of spiciness is perfect. This is it. I ordered two different kits because one was supposed to be a sampler. Everything I received was the same. Don't bother with the kits. Just get some siracha.

My husband has been on a hot sauce kick lately, and his old standby sriracha was getting hard to find. When we found Underwood Ranches Sriracha online and saw that they had two other pepper sauces, we figured that we might as well get the bundle and try them all. * The Sriracha is the mildest of the three (and that's not to say that it's mild!) and is a smooth, easy to pour sauce. It's got a good flavor and level of heat; it's hotter than the last bottle of Huy Fong we got. * The Chili-Garlic is the next hottest and is a thicker consistency with some pepper seeds in it. It has a nice garlicky flavor, and packs a fair amount of heat. * The Sambal is HOT. Not the hottest hot sauce my husband has tried, but it's outside my preferred level of heat. It's a squeezable Thai chili paste, and a little goes a long way. It's definitely comparable to the Huy Fong Sambal

If you are nostalgic for the original flavors of Huy Fong's sriracha and other chili sauces, Underwood Ranches is the one to go with!!! Because Underwood is the original grower (supplier) of peppers to Huy Fong (before they tried to screw Underwood), they have the original flavor that many of us are used to from using sriracha and other Huy Fong chili products over the past 30 years. The flavors are spot on and the product is highly consistent where as Huy Fong no longer tastes good, lacks heat and the quality is highly inconsistent since they sources their peppers from too many different growers now.

I don't claim to be someone with a super taster or remember exactly the flavor profile of a similar sauce that once hit the market and was ubiquitous, but the peppers are the star and have a consistency which is unmatched by any out there on the market. I enjoy the flavor, and while a tad bit more vinegar than another kind of today it is the standard in my mind. I like the familiar pepper taste, the heat (which by today's market is mild but still hot to many) and the flavor overall. I very much enjoy pairing this with many foods, from traditional fair to ethnic. I will support Underwood Farms and their collection of hot pepper sauces.

Wished that Huy Fong still made Siracha this way but it's all in the peppers. If you are wishing it tasted like how it was. Give the farmer who helped Siracha become the global sensation.
