M12 Inserts
These are excellent I had an injector hold down bolt hole and the thread had stripped a helicoil kept failing within minutes of being started. These are solid and hold the injector bolt down perfectly probably stronger than the original thread! Don’t waste time and money on helicoils use these very easy to fit and right for the job very pleased!

Good for hiding screws
These come in handy for a variety of purposes but mainly used in woodworking projects if I want to hide screws in order to give nice clean lines.

Threads definitely didn't seem to be M3, would bind very easily when machine screw inserted
