Super simple to set up and wonderful clarity and quality of calls. All ringer and call volumes were excellent and more than loud enough for us. Speakerphone is excellent and very handy when you're on hold! Answering machine is excellent with plenty of options for example call screening via handset or base station. Call blocking features are also on here. No connection issues with full bars on all 3 handset around my home. Overall a very good quality phone in my opinion.

BT has clearly, deliberately dumbed down the spec of these phones to account for the relatively low price....for the following reasons. The missed call icon is a very small, very thin, flashing arrow that appears in the top left corner of the display when you, err, miss a call. You can't see it when the screen isn't lit, and not only that, you can hardly see it when you lift the handset off the base to light it up. Very poor. It could do with a bigger, bolder, solid, non flashing icon further down the screen where you'd stand a better chance of seeing it. Also, the way the date and time are displayed is a little primative. The phone won't let you opt for a 24hr clock, so 1646 appears as 04.46P......so 1970s. The ringtone choices are very limited too. Other than that, the handsets are nice to hold, call quality is good and when inputting your personal phone book you only need to do it on one, all the others get updated automatically. I've not had any stability issues in the cradles either.

Easy to install and does everything we want

We have been using these - in two rooms - for a long time. Good quality and reliable.

I had to get new phones because of bt changeover to digital voice as my old phones weren’t compatible. These were the cheapest option with the features I wanted. Ok to set up but very disappointed they have no flashing light to show when you have a missed call. You have to physically pick up the handset to see if there’s a tiny black arrow on the display. This is very difficult to see for people with poor vision and as I don’t use the phone to make calls, only to receive them, I don’t pick the handset up regularly. As a result I didn’t know I’d had missed calls. The phones are ok and don’t take up much space but not a patch on my old 30 year old ones.

Great product

I needed to replace my bt premium phone as it began to remain disconnected after a message had been left and engineers visits and ages spent on the phone couldn't fix it! This phone feels robust enough and is comfortable. The sound is crystal clear to me. It is fairly easy to setup. It does what it says. Button sizes are fine. The negatives are that it doesn't sit very stably in the base, especially the second set. The display is OK but not very clear. It wouldn't suit anyone with impaired vision. Missed calls icon and message left are tiny compared to my previous phone. Answerphone doesn't have an audio alert option that I can find which I will miss as my phone sits in a room I don't necessarily go into every time I come home. The light on second base in my bedroom is very bright! I just put something in front of it! I am quite happy with it for the money but if you are feeling flush I probably consider a slightly better model. I cannot comment on call blocking facility- I hope it is as good as my old phone as itwas excellent.
