Full Moon Essential Chicken Tenders 16.0 oz

First and foremost: I have an 8 year old Rough Collie. He's a sweetie...but very picky when it comes to food and treats. He is definitely not food motivated. He can be treat motivated IF the treats are tasty enough. To date, he only really likes two types of treats: Soft peanut butter type treats and meat/jerky style treats. I've bough the Full Moon brand treats for the last three years - especially after the Pampered Pooch Peanut Butter treats are no longer available. Here are some key items I (and my dog) love about these: 1) Soft and chewy yet can easily be broken down (or cut with kitchen shears like I do) 2) A very good jerky smell without anything odd (i..e. formaldehyde type smell) 3) Wholesome. Made from real beef in the USA - not imported from China with who knows what included 4) Human grade. Yup, I've even nibbled on a few to check for palatability. 5) Awesome value. Not cheap, however when you get 24 ounces for this price it goes a long, long way! 6) Real, jerky meat appearance - not some weird shelf-stable slim-jim appearance 7) My dog loves them! He knows if he goes outside to go bathroom I will give him a 1/4 of a strip - sometimes he fakes it! 8) I've never had any negative reaction from my dog - no diarrhea, upset stomach, etc. 9) It is one of the few treats he likes. My vet tries to give him Milk Bones or other over-processed chews. He simply spits those out I really hope this brand stays on Amazon for a long, long time for the sake of my best friend

My Great Danes love these treats! Since they are a bit pricey, I only give it to them for their dessert after dinner - and if I am taking too long, they remind me. :-) I like that they are made in the US, with real chicken. Although many danes can have sensitive stomachs, I've been giving them these treats for many years and never had any issues with them. Occasionally I will get a bag that is a bit on the tough side, but usually they are the perfect degree of tenderness and tear ability - and they always smell good, not chemically.

These treats were recommended by a dog-owning friend based on the quality, natural ingredients. We agree, and the pup loves these. They smell great, and the bag is going fast because they disappear quickly. If you're looking for something Lon-lasting and a chew-treat, this is not it. If you're looking for something nutritious and safe , which can be broken into smaller bites, and that you can feel good feeding fresh treats to your pet, this is it.

My Doxy is a picky treat taker, and I’ve been struggling to find something she actually enjoys. She used to like the Costco jerky strips, but the quality went downhill — they were hard as a rock and impossible to break into pieces for a small dog. These Full Moon Chicken Jerky Strips are a huge upgrade! They’re always soft, fresh-looking, and super easy to tear into smaller pieces. The quality is consistently great, and my Doxy loves these way more than the Costco brand (honestly, so do I). She doesn’t have any chicken sensitivities, so they’re easy on her tummy, and best of all… these treats actually get my stubborn little girl to listen sometimes! Highly recommend for picky pups or small dogs who need softer, high-quality treats.

Expensive. Other brands are just as good and affordable

All of my dogs have loved Full moon jerky. Chicken has been their favorite flavor but they like other varieties too. I always recommend this brand to my dog parent friends. Dogs love them and they are human grade which I love. They are soft enough to break in smaller pieces, which I like as well. No chemicals or junk in these treats. Nothing but the best for my babies! Buy these, your dogs will love them.
