GREAT SECURING OPTION
So you put each end of this strap on each handlbar end, and get it taught. Making sure your handlebar is facing STRAIGHT FORWARDS, preferably secured in a floor wheel chock, you are then able to attach carbiner connectors to each end and then attach the other end to your mounting(s) - mine are located at each side of my van, just behind the bulkhead. With this setup i have NEVER once dropped my beloved (ZX6R in case you were wandering). Unsure yet as to durability and have noted other reviews that mention it loosening over time. If it does then i will of course update accordingly. :)

Secure bike to trailer
I used this item to help secure my motorcycle to a trailer while transporting 400 miles. It worked as described. I would say the trailer is purpose built with front wheel rack and plenty of strap connection points. I used two straps from harness plus two straps from the top of the forks and two straps at the rear of the bike plus a strap securing the front wheel to the front wheel rack so 7 straps in total.

Before you use these straps
Nearly lost the bike off the trailer. They are not pre stretched subsequently they stretched during use. Half a mile down the road and the bike was leaning off the trailer. Tightened the straps one mile again same problem. Ten miles and I loaded the other two bikes and all three set off to Cadwell 250 mile trip. We stopped countless times to tighten the straps as the bar straps stretched. Damage to the bikes as they worked loose and knocked into each other. The roads out of Wales do not lend themselves to stopping as soon as you see problem. I have used Oxford bar straps since 2008 with a motorcycle training school never had a problem. The new ones are lighter webbing which is ok but beware they stretch.

The product is too long that it is hard to use with sport bikes.
