Worked Perfectly
My dining area did not have a dimmer switch with a five-bulb light fixture, which meant the lighting over the table was either super bright or not at all. My wife would actually unscrew some of the lightbulbs to alter the mood, which didn't look great After nine short years, I decided to do something about it and bought the Cloudy Bay in Wall Dimmer Switch. The instructions are clear, and with minimal electrical experience I was able to install the switch in only a few minutes. My only complaint was that the dimmer slider was all the way down, so I thought there was a problem when I turned the breaker back on and tried the switch the first time. After totally disassembling and rechecking everything, I realized it was just turned all the way down. So that was a little bit of hassle. Call it user error or whatever. I installed some candelabra style dimmable LED bulbs in cool white, and it looks amazing. Now we can have soft mood lighting for a nice dinner, or bright lights when working on school projects. There is a tiny delay in response time when using the slider, but nothing critical, and that was not a priority for me. We don't slide it that often, and when we do, the response time does not matter at all. This was a wish list item for years, and I would definitely buy the Cloudy Bay wall dimmer switch again.

Great price, works fine, includes instructions
At least half the price of Lowe’s for the same function. I appreciated the instructions included bc this light has 2 switches to operate it & im not an electrician. But I did it myself in about 20 minutes. FYI I’m using 3 LED 40w 450L bulbs in this light fixture.

Easy to install, slightly louder click than more expensive switches. Works great.
The switch was easy to install, and works properly. there is a little pre-set wheel on the back to adjust the minimums there is no light flicker at the lowest of the dimmer. There was a "smart" switch installed when we moved in to our home, and it was always a pain to push the button just right to get the light to turn on and off. This allows us to simply flip the switch while walking by. I'm not sure why smart switches would be installed I a bedroom anyway, but to me, a simple switch on the wall is just simpler. The one thing I took a point off the rating for this switch is the switch itself is a little stiff and has a fairly loud click, rather than a smooth, fairly silent click experience with other switches I the house. Those switches cost twice as much, ad with this one only being used a few ties a day, I do't think it's worth spending a lot more money on a switch to get a little smoother feel, or to to hear a quick click sound. One the I'll mention that wasn't covered in the directions is that if you have a ceiling fan, and your old switch has two white wires for the fan joined together and connected to a white wire on the old switch, you will just leave those wires connected in wire nut, without them going through this switch. This switch does not turn the fan on or off, just the light.

Amazing function, easy to install, at half the price
Easy to install dimmer that looks great. It was hard to believe that this dimmer, rated at a higher wattage than anything in the Big Box stores was less than half the price. The switch is responsive (no detectable lag). The dimmer goes low, but not entirely off. I suppose that’s what that huge flip switch over the dimmer is for 😛 Highly recommended 👍🏽 Helpful?👇🏽

First dimmer I've tried that works properly with LED lights
This is the first dimmer I've tried that works properly with LED lights. It has an adjustment thumbwheel behind the faceplate where the installer set the correct minimum voltage for the type of bulb you use. This makes it so the switch on the dimmer that the user sets provides the proper range from "barely off" to "all the way on". It was also a great price.

Worked for 3 months; now light flicker
I bought 4 of these in October, but installed only 2. One is on a set of lights that we rarely use. The other is on the front hall lights, which we use every day. The dimmer worked fine at first. By mid January, these lights started to flicker at anything but the brightest setting. I tried substituting one of the spare dimmer switches, and it made no difference. It's not possible to turn down the control wheel to stop the flickering. So, either the switch has damaged the lights (three flush-mount LED celling fixtures), or the second switch was defective out of the box.

Slight delay in dimming
I needed dimmer switches with a sleek, screwless design but didn’t want to spend a fortune on a high-end brand. These caught my eye as a budget-friendly option, and I have to say, I’m really happy with them. They have a clean, modern look that blends well with my walls, and the smooth sliding action feels great. The installation was straightforward, and everything fit snugly without any issues. The dimming function works well, though I did notice a slight delay if I adjust the brightness too quickly. It’s not a dealbreaker, just something to be aware of. Once set, the light levels remain stable without flickering, which is exactly what I wanted. The included cover plates complete the streamlined look, which was important to me. For the price, this was a great find—stylish, functional, and way more affordable than some of the well-known brands. If you want a modern dimmer switch that doesn’t cost a fortune, this is a solid choice.
