Solid 7-in-1 USB-C Hub for MacBook and More
I’ve been using the MOKiN 7-in-1 USB-C Hub with my MacBook Pro for daily work, and it has performed reliably so far. Ports & Performance: The HDMI output works smoothly with my external monitor and delivers a stable picture without flickering or lag. The USB 3.0 ports provide good transfer speeds for flash drives and external accessories like a mouse and keyboard. The SD/TF card readers are convenient and recognize cards instantly, which is helpful for photo and file transfers. Power Delivery: The 100W PD pass-through charging is a big plus. My MacBook charges normally while all ports are in use, and I haven’t noticed overheating or power drops. Build Quality & Design: The hub feels well-built with a sturdy cable and a compact, lightweight design that’s easy to carry in a laptop bag. It matches the MacBook aesthetic nicely but also works well with other USB-C laptops (I tested briefly on a Lenovo with no issues). Compatibility: Plug-and-play with macOS and Windows—no drivers needed. Everything was recognized immediately. Overall Impression: This is a practical and well-designed USB-C adapter that covers most everyday needs in one compact device. It’s a great option for anyone looking to expand ports on a MacBook Pro/Air or other USB-C laptops. ✔️ Good value ✔️ Reliable performance ✔️ Travel-friendly design Highly recommended for work, home, or travel use.

not bad so far
Cable length is too short, around 1.5m, but no complaint, just means I have to get another HDMI cable in a longer length to hook up to my big Television or monitor. Can hook up my SSD drives to my M4 MacBook Air and start saving space. It works directly without charging Purchased silver in a Colour that matches my computer colour Connectivity No issues so far, Got 2 ext drive working from very old machine

Very good with one minor irritation
Very smart hub. Use it on an iPad Air m2. All the ports work. Possible to transfer files from one thumb drive to another, or to a sd card etc. Mine works fine without power input. It can even cope with a Sandisk Extreme drive plus a few other drives without plugging in the power. So why the dropped star? Ideally the USB ports would be wider spaced but that’s not worthy of dropping a star. The main thing for me is that the hub can’t see an sd card and an sd micro card at the same time. This makes it a bit more difficult to transfer from one sd card to another. You need to buy and plug in a USB to micro sd adapter in one of the USB ports on the hub and the sd card in one of the sd card ports on the hub. So not the perfect hub for me as I have to faff about with adapters. Otherwise great looking, fast, all the good stuff minus this one irritation. Ps. I have adapters that can read two sd cards at the same time. So it’s this hub, not an iOS issue.

Great.
Excellent. Easy to use. Works really well with my tablets (Samsung and iPad). Enables charging while still using an extra USB device. Great.

Pleasantly surprised
It is a USB C, not thunderbolt which is the main let down. This does restrict usage a little. I will start with the cons Cons: The case gets quite warm, it feels like coated metal similar to pc cases. Plastic parts also get warm. This makes me question how long it will last. I also wonder that reason it gets hot is it has no power brick, so the 100watts is being handled within the unit itself. It has a 'power button' but at least on my unit, it does nothing! Also powered on as soon as you plug the USB C cable in from the mains. Pros: Small, light. No power brick, just the unit, so easier to transport, just need a USB plug that can supply 100watts and 1 extra cable (if include the original) to power a laptop or connect to a PC. According to the windows display settings it is showing to push 165Hz at 3440x1440p on my 34inch wide-screen monitor which is amazing as that's the max the monitor can do (see photo, sorry it's a rubbish quality). The ports seem fast and responsive, haven't had a connection issue yet. I was worried as I wanted a dock that could do 1440p wide-screen at 120+ Hz which it seems to be doing so impressed, especially at the discounted price

It works really well however I have to take the bottom protective cover off my laptop to be able to plug it completely in however that's a small issue to have. As advertised.

Funziona decisamente meglio del precedente acquistato qualche anno fa di un'altra marca ad un prezzo più basso. Ottima la qualità del materiale e non sembra soffrire come il precedente di disconessioni improvvise.

All the ports are great but I used it to attach an older monitor to a newer MacBook Pro. I also use this to read camera cards and attach a mouse to my MacBook.
