Increase the baudrate for more satellites
Fantastic hard wired gps receiver, default settings only allow US satellites to be used but plug it in to a windows laptop, install gpsinfo utility (download from manufacturer website) increase the baudrate from 4800 to 921600 and you now have access to 30+ satellites. Instructions included in the box. Using on a Samsung S10 5G with a dual usb port OTG cable so I can charge the phone at the same time. Works a treat.

No fix after an hour ..
Well after reading the reviews I'm left disappointed by the performance. I am assuming I got a faulty one. No fix after 60 minutes indoors, while my ancient Samsung Galaxy S9 is showing 30 satellites and , this unit, running its test program on Win 11 did get 8 satellites on one occasion, but no fix. Outside .. 10 minutes to get a fix from 12 satellites. I'm ordering another, will update if I get a good one.

Accurate, quick to aquire satellites and good value for money.
Works well with PC & Android, very fast acquisition and high level of accuracy. A very good price for what it is, support was very responsive (had to contact them for the android 'app' to force use of external GPS antenna), the cable length is more than most - overall, very good value for money.

Simple and easy to use, good sensitivity
This is a nice easy way to get a NMEA 0183 GPS signal into a PC via USB, The unit is powered via the USB, and a USB virtual serial driver is downloadable, so appears to your software as a serial com port - i.e. compatible with most PC navigation software Accuracy and sensitivity is good provided you give a clear sky view. Also has differential capability if available in your area. Would I buy again ? Yes (and have done)

Well worth the money
Performs really well (using with GPSD on Linux), really fast time to first fix. Super accurate and performs well even indoors. To get it to use other satellite constellations (Glonass, Galileo etc), you'll need to use their tool to increase the baudrate, it's 4800 by default. After this it will report loads of satellites, achieve faster TTFF, and the setting survives power off so only needs to be done once.
