Great tv mount
I love this tv mount ! It works fantastic. I enjoy watching tv with the family and to be able to lower the tv down below or even with our fireplace when not in use is a dream. I didn't know I needed this until I stumbled onto it

Awesome Mount
The MOUNT-IT! Motorized Fireplace TV Wallmount has been a game-changer for our home entertainment setup. The ability to adjust the TV's position with the press of a button is incredibly convenient, especially when viewing angles need to shift depending on where we're seated. One feature I particularly love is the memory buttons. They let you set and recall your preferred viewing positions effortlessly, saving time and making adjustments a breeze. However, with kids in the house, I've had to get creative with hiding the remote! They find the motorized movements fascinating, and I’ve caught them a few times trying to “play” with it. That said, this is less an issue with the product and more about my household dynamics. I would recommend keeping the remote out of reach if you have curious little ones around. The wall mount itself is sturdy, smooth, and surprisingly easy to install. It’s perfect for those who have TVs mounted above a fireplace, as it allows for a more ergonomic and comfortable viewing experience. If you're looking for a high-quality, motorized TV mount, this one is well worth the investment.

Even though they say it works- it may not.
1st. - TV goes up and down with a remote. The motor is quiet & fast. The mount is heavy & bulky (TV sits just under 6" away from the wall stored up). 2nd. - Very easy to install. It's literally just like any other non-motorized TV mount. Easier than some of the older cantilever mounts. Here's the rub. Amazon's add and Mount-it's website say " it a versatile choice for any TV model compatible with VESA 200x100mm to 600x400mm patterns" My TV is a newer 70" Toshiba TV. The Versa mounts are patterned as listed. I measured pre-purchase. My attachment bolts, however, are near the bottom of the TV and not in the middle. The included attachment brackets (tv side) don't mount high enough (towards top) on the back to drop my TV low enough to not see the mount when stowed. Also, this makes the TV way higher than the provided space needed/ intended according the published information. It's laughably high. Strike one. *I did order extension brackets through a third party, we'll see if that's enough. *edit: Vivo extension brackets worked for dropping the TV in the right location (though could have used and additional 1” from the 6.5” drop it provided. Strike two: the mount that affixes to the wall is just over 16". It's heavy and needs to be stud mounted. But there is NO, NONE, NADA adjustment left and right. If the gap between 16" studs isn't centered above your fireplace mantel it will forever be L/R of center or crooked. There is no additional left and right adjustment in wall bracket design (like most others). I thought I would get away with moving the TV a couple of inches left on the plate that connects to the TV (like most other brackets). While there is room to do so, the bolts that hold the TV piece to the wall piece straight are not strong enough to keep it level (with weight not centered) and it sags with time since it's off balance. Strike three: I called Mount-It to check if the recessed version would avoid these problems. The representative, Stephanie, more interested in arguing than helping- making for a frustrating 20-minute call. Terrible experience. For those considering the flush mount. Same problems. Gap in studs needs be centered where the TV is centered and lower Vesa mounts will make the TV too high, exposing the mount, and making the TV higher than desired. 4-Star product if you have the "right TV". It's just a bit clunky to be 5 stars for me. -1 star for not having disclaimers about low Vesa mounted TVs don't install correctly. -1 star for not stating L/R adjustment isn't an option for the wall mount. -1 star for having Stephanie as your customer liaison Wasted evening. Painful 20 min customer service call. Got holes where I won't need them anymore.

Almost perfect
Works great, great range of motion, not difficult to install, clears our 8” deep mantle with no issues though it will block a sound bar if you have it mounted below the TV ( I used a mount that allowed the soundbar to rest on the top edge of the tv )

Takes Our Patio To The Next Level!
I was looking for a mount for a TV we were planning on adding to our patio when I came across this. It checked the boxes: discrete, sturdy, and drops down. When I read that it was motorized, I didn't hesitate and clicked the "add to cart" button. I'm so glad that I did!! This thing takes our patio to next level of "wow!" I'm pretty handy when it comes to DIY things around the house so I wasn't intimidated by installing the mount. I've installed TV mounts before so I knew what I was getting into. I installed a 7/16" thick piece of OSB to the house using 6ea. 5/16" x 2.5" lag bolts into the studs behind the siding, and then I used 8ea. 1/4" x 2.5" lag bolts to bolt the mount to the OSB. Once I had the mount installed, I extended it out and grabbed hold of it and took my feet off the ladder. If it held up my 185lb frame with ease, it wouldn't have any problems with a 45lb TV. The included remote is basic, there's not much functionality of the mount. It swings down, and then back up. The TV can be angled left or right, but you have to do that by hand. I was expecting it to be handled by the mount based off the description and the fact that the remote has left and right arrows on it. One cool feature, however, is that even if I have the TV angled to the left or right, and then raise the TV, the mount moves the TV back to the "flat" position. After installation, there's roughly 8" from the wall to the TV when collapsed in the upright position. Overall rating: couldn't be happier with this mount!

In my case complex to mount because I had a small clearance, but once up,works perfectly and looks great, just wish it was a bit more flush. I could have recessed it I suppose

Product has been great and working well since installed around a year ago. Unfortunately the remote suddenly stopped working and there is no manual ability to raise/lower. MountIt do not cover any warranty/replacement outside of the USA, which is quite disappointing.

Love it! Top quality. Being used on a high wall without fireplace. Fairly easy to install. Just what we needed.

This is one of the coolest things I’ve ever installed. So practical and everyone who sees it is amazed. Press 1 on remote to lift up to the top. Press 2 on the remote to bring it down for comfortable viewing.

My worst fear. Spent all the time to install it. And it’s defective. Remote signal works. CPU sensor turns blue showing its receiving signal. Hydraulic does nothing. Mount stays up position. No down. Nothing
