All I can say is….Wow!
This little guy packs a big punch! Particularly for the price! I have made 3 attempts with Amazon to find a travel iron that works equally as well as a steamer. My go to for testing is my linen shirts. The iron heats up very quickly and does an impressive job of minimizing the wrinkles. Love that it is 1000 watts of power! Then I gave it the true test..steam. Very effective! For such a little guy..I was impressed. It doesn’t have a zillion steam vents and doesn’t need them. Definitely travel size. It’s compact and comes with a drawstring bag which is a nice touch. Not crazy about the resting plate being plastic…..and it IS noisy, but not a deal breaker. Only had it a day but this baby won’t be going back!

Great Travel Iron is as Powerful as a Regular Iron
This is an amazing little steamer iron, I've used it for over a year now - and not just as a travel iron. This portable little thing packs an iron-out punch both steam-wise and as a 'regular' iron. There is no way to set it down while you're using it, however - get a silicone plate or something to set it down while you're using it.

Confusing, Potentially Dangerous Instructions
EDIT: 1. Ok. I've used it a few times now. It can be used with handle swiveled both in (like a regular iron) and out. 2. The tank lid pops whenever it's unplugged and cooling regardless of the water level. 3. The cup had a crack in the bottom. NOW FOR THE REALLY IMPORTANT STUFF: 1. THE ONLY WAY TO TURN IT ON AND OFF IS BY PLUGGING AND UNPLUGGING. 2. I read all the important safeguards which say "(Note: Do not turn ON the power before adding water)", but later in the instructions, it says to "add water promptly" if the water runs low, which means it WILL BE ON. 3. Swiveling the handle does not turn it on or off, and the handle must be in swiveled out to fill the water reservoir. 4. Instructions say to have the unit in the OFF position, but later says to unplug it to turn it off. Again, there IS NO ON/OFF SWITCH. 5. Under IRONING METHOD, #4 says "Double click on the switch to STOP WORKING." It does NOT STOP WORKING. It sets it back to 1 - DRY mode. EDIT: OK, changed my rating. It's not so bad. Does what it's supposed to. Steam doesn't comes out when I want it to and comes out when I don't, but I know to be careful soooo, not as bad as I thought.

Convenient & Easy to Use
I enjoy using this mini iron/steamer for my daily sewing & crafts because the small pointed end presses perfect seams. It’s easy to fill with water & holds quite a bit. I also plan to use it for my wedding to steam the dresses. If you purchase this you should also consider a portable ironing mat. I found one on Amazon with a silicone piece attached for the iron to sit on when hot 👍

Item is Defective
I purchased this item for a recent trip. The iron was nice and light weight, but it only worked the first time and then stopped working. I am returning it. I saw another review like this when I purchased the iron but was hoping it was a one-off incident - but looks like it may actually be a common issue.

LOVE! Way better than my old one. Works great as steam and iron
This is great! I ironed with it at home just to test it, and it did a really good job for such a lightweight iron. The steam is impressive, and the tank is a decent size. This is a fantastic travel iron and steamer. We are taking a trip soon, and this is already in my stack for packing. My other one is going in the donation pile. This iron took wrinkles out of a cotton hang-dry top, and as a steamer, it took wrinkles out of a polyester/rayon-type skirt. My only reason for deducting a star is that you can't rest it anywhere to rotate your clothing on the ironing board. You can only put it plate-side down or on its side. It really needs a design where it can stand on its own or some way to rotate the handle like a kickstand or something. You almost need one extra hand to be able to turn your clothes and hold the iron at the same time. I just put it down for a couple seconds, turned the clothes a little, picked up, turned, etc., until I finally got them into the next ironing position. Not convenient. This is only a problem for ironing, not steaming.

It works
I am terrified of this iron. It produces plenty of steam quickly but the oddly shaped plastic rest is hard to use and tipsy
