Last year I took the seal off my 6.5 quart for cleaning, put it back correctly, and turned on pressure cooker to clean inside with water and lemon. It never built up pressure instead it blew steam. I had only used pressure once. I kept trying taking off putting back on seal. I came across this last week and ordered. Today I easily put the gray one on, it was so easy I didn’t think it would make a proper seal, I was wrong it did. It worked perfectly. I today’s work with so many influencers I don’t believe most of the reviews I read but you can believe this one. I’m a nobody and this work perfectly and I have my pressure cooker again and I’ll be using too.

I don’t usually bother with reviews but this ring has been in place for maybe 3 cook cycles and my Foodi popped while in high pressure cook mode last night. Thankfully none of us were standing next to it because the steam would have burned us. Also thankful the pot didn’t blow apart. Scary. Do not buy -have used pressure cookers for years and never had an issue like this. We replaced the original ring because it wasn’t sealing well but I’d rather it not seal well that explode.

This Ninja 5 qt. does many things, but the instructions only focus on pressure cooking and crisping. There is nothing about baking and dehydrating. Sad, like dating a person or making friends with a person and never knowing who they are! The first thing I did was sweet potato, apple crisp, and raisin pie with out the crust. Baking it was good, pressure cooking not so good. It was either too mushy or to dried up. Never crisp the thing for raisins are not forgiving. It would be great for summer cooking. I put my crock pot in my bedroom to cook to save on heating up the whole place. I could do it with this foodi once sometning turns out.

Excellent OEM replacement, that is cost effective. Snug fit, excellent seal. Quality material (x2). Do not hesitate, if your ring is failing to seal anymore, this is your solution. Everybit as good as OEM.

Always good to have spare seal ring for the Ninja foodi. We always change them out between savory and sweet types of food.
