Beautiful as expected good quality

These heat holders socks have a tog rating. They keep your feet snug and warm. The best thermal socks by far, and I've tried lots. Thick so maybe need a half size up shoe for extra comfort. Wash well. Wear to watch football and go for walks in winter.

I have always liked "Heat Holder" socks, for use in the colder weather, in contrast to some of the cheaper and thinner alternatives. They are well made enough to be quite hard wearing and so not needing to be replaced too regularly and I feel you shouldn't mind paying extra for quality.

Lovely and soft and furry lined

Originally bought for my husband who works in freezing conditions - but is supremely fussy and picky and farty and pratty with fabrics. Apparently these make his feet sweat and are too tight, causing restriction, suffocation, convulsions, death etc in his work boots - he'll stick with chillblains instead. Because, logic. So instead, my teen sons have inherited them. They are quite happy to have toasty, cosy death feet. What I will say though, is that they are crazy stupid overpriced, pill after one wear looking instantly skanky, don't seem terribly durable, and I suspect will shrink even after using recommended washing instructions. But my teens don't give a flying eff if these are warm bedsocks or hidden in wellies. So, not an entire waste of 20 odd quid.

I bought these socks on the advice of a podiatrist as I suffer annual toe problems related to the winter months. She actually referred to them by brand. The socks arrived and I was initially impressed with the thickness and warmth which was naturally my reason for buying them. After using these socks for a month or so I can say its the first ever pair of socks I have dumped in the bin so soon after buying them. The problem is that they do not have anywhere near enough elasticity to hold them up your calves. Great in the morning but four hours later the tops of both socks are level with the top of my boots, and each sock has gathered up inside my boots to the point that it's painful to walk. Absolute garbage. They need more elastic or grippy silicone bands on the inside like some sports socks have to stop them slipping down. Don't bother.

Tanto per avere un'idea, avevo preso dei calzini 100% lana alpaca prima di questi e non sono lontanamente paragonabili a questi. Questi calzini termici tengono i piedi molto più caldi. Inoltre una cosa che non avevo notato è che c'è il marchio in alto a destra del calzino. Non mi sarei aspettato che fosse moderno e giovanile. Probabilmente è un valore aggiunto. Il prezzo magari è un po' alto, ma alla fine funzionano.

Eftersom jag är allergisk mot ull, köper jag dessa strumpor för att hålla mina fötter varma under wintern.
