Night Cat 2 Person Camping Tent: Waterproof 2 Man Backpacking Tent Double Layer Easy Set Up Lightweight For Hiking Trekking

My friend was doing the West Highland Way and needed a tent asap. Luckily amazon had this hidden gem, it's easy to assemble, small storage and it's waterproof! It survived all Scotland could throw at it and it's still standing after 6 night of intensive camping!

There's a lot of things l like about this tent - not least the price point, materials used, design and the space inside the tent.However, upon initial inspection the seam tape has been applied poorly within the tent's bathtub, meaning that it would leak. A tent that leaks is useless...I haven't checked the seams on the flysheet, but considering those in the bathtub are defective I'm sending it back.I will order a replacement, and should that be sealed satisfactorily then I'll amend my review accordingly.Poor production control and poor quality control. Not good enough for a tent that claims to be waterproof.Update - replacement tent received and inspected. I'm happy to report that I'm satisfied with the seam tape and stitching within the bathtub and fly sheet, which is much better than the initial tent I was sent. The ultimate test will be in the field.

Was a bit hesitant about this one as it was a bit of a bargain for what it is but I can honestly say that mine came with everything included, not the lightest tent but small enough for backpacking with, kept me dry in medium rain, don't know about a proper heavy downpour, only bit of advice is to pitch it somewhere sheltered if you're expecting high winds, pitched on top of a mountain and was a bit of a nightmare but that's to be expected with any tent that's not low profile, the outer pitch first is also really nice, remains to be seen how long it will last as I wild camp regularly but for £80 you can't really go far wrong, worst case it can be replaced, highly recommend

Used on Two Motorbike Weekends so far. One Dry weekend one wet. Good in both conditions.Easy to put up on your own. Easy and compact to put away. Great tent.

Tent looks good quality and it’s easy to pitch but the rain fly pole is missing. I’d use it as is if I could buy a separate p later but rain is forecast. Very disappointed as I’m camping next week. Amazon says they can’t send replacement or missing parts. So decided to return and see if they can replace the whole tent asap

I havntnt tested it in bad weather yet ,so cannot vouch for its performance on persistent heavy rain or winds . I think there is far too much mesh in the inner . Easy to errect ,quality good fir price but had to purchase better pegs ,those dappled very basic

Review of the 2 man version:Pros- lightweight enough for backpacking- quick & easy to pitch- decent enough room (I’m >6ft4)- great for summer/ warm weather (it won’t overheat)- flysheet is good- zips, seams, build quality all seems goodCons- ground sheet is lightweight (but it is a lightweight tent)- as its summer oriented if the temp drops you’ll get cold- not enough pegs were supplied- packed-away dimensions are too wide for bikepacking.
