Today’s beautiful ballpoint pen
Extremely beautiful. Very light and looks fantastic peeping out of my shirt pocket. The anodized coloring and floral etched upper barrel is marvelous, almost too beautiful to use. The craftsmanship is definitely modern and with practical materials and machinations, to fit the modern age. Although I have many Parker pens from decades ago, those pens were made with much more parts and materials, and prone to being damaged by having super delicate details. Of course those were also very costly. They were by design to be collectible. Today’s products are not made to be collected, they are made to be used and to free this generation from excessive stuff.

Love this Jotter
I am thrilled with this unusual Jotter. It is very nice and looks like no other Jotter to date. I've been keeping my eye on this one and it seems to have gone up a bit in price so I thought I'd jump on it. Glad I did. Absolutely lovely.

Classy and elegant
I have been a fan of the Parker Jotter since my father owned a complete set in silver back in the 60s. I was thrilled to have been given a Jotter as a gift several years ago and have not felt the same about any other ballpoint since. This special edition Jotter is beautiful. The etching actually helps me with the grip and the red upper part makes it even more distinctive. I prefer a medium blue ballpoint, and the Parker Quink cartridge writes well. Not to sound like a pen snob, but while others carry crappy plastic pens, or cheap-looking pens with marketing slogans, I am pleased I can produce an elegant and classy writing instrument that hopefully signals professionalism to the superiors with whom I work.

Decent Pen, Looks Great, Light in the Hand!
***Update***received the new pen and it does work, thus the upgrade to 4 stars. It’s light, which isn’t a deal breaker, but I do prefer more heft in my writing instruments. I’d buy another Jotter, but not necessarily a special edition like this. That said, a good writing instrument, sharp lines, no bleed through, and feels comfortable in the hand. If you don’t receive one that’s faulty, and you like a pen with style, then this may be the pen for you.*** Looks Maybe it's my luck and the item I received was merely defective. If so I'll edit this, but for now my view of this pen is it is mechanically worthless. The pen arrived yesterday and wrote smoothly, felt comfortable in my hand, and in my opinion is a very beautiful daily writing instrument. This morning while writing the pen ceased functioning, not the ink cartridge, but the mechanical button no longer worked. The nib would be pushed out, but would no longer retract when the button was depressed. I have initiated a return via Amazon for a replacement and my hope is this was a one off defect and not systemic of a quality control problem with Parker.

Quality pen
Got this pen as my first intro into all metal pens and there's no wonder why this is the industry standard. Very happy with the feel, weight, style, and especially the clicker. I really wish they would make a jotter 2.0 that would take modern refills like the Pilot G2. They have quality pens at a reasonable price.

dark goth
Overall I like the pen and it feels comfortable. Only complaints are that I think it is perhaps slightly overpriced and that it is a lot darker than in pictures. It looks like normal dark brown and not bronze as such, all the detailing in the pictures here is accentuated by use of light. The etching looks darker and deeper than in reality. I have other jotters and an old Insignia. If only this had the weight and balance of the Insignia. It IS a really cool pen and would want it had I seen it first hand myself and not here online but it does look different than depicted.

Light and cheap feeling
Pretty. Writes okay. Very lightweight. Feels cheap. I bought a three pack of Jotter pens for $12 yesterday and for the way these pens feel that price seems fair. But $20 for this "limited edition" feels like I made a poor decision. I bought a Cross pen recently for around $28 and that was night and day better. Felt like a good pen, this doesn't.

HaPpY Parker London Fan!
Pen is beyond perfect. Good weight, well made & good ink flow. Unique special edition design feels different in hand with laser cutting on metal barrel (reverse of typical Parker). Price great & got fast. Although corny, I do use Parker for gifts because of their quality but this one is MINE.

I am very happy with this cool series as it added a neat flavour to my existing jotters. This new jotter is much lighter than previous ones and they have a cool dsdign whichnive never seen before. Despite the weight difference I still recommend these pens as they are made in France and still seem durable.

The pen may be lighter than the previous versions but it's still worthwhile. I find I get less hand cramping. My son is a southpaw and finds these version of pens easier to handle and write with for a longer period of time without his hand cramping up. As for the look of the pens, they are truly interesting and I like them.
