I picked up the 991ES Scientific Calculator with the attached drawing notepad for my college engineering classes, and it’s honestly one of the best study tools I’ve ever owned. The calculator itself performs just like any high-end Casio — fast, accurate, and easy to use. Very good for the price and It handles complex equations, trig functions, and conversions with zero lag, and the display is super clear with a natural textbook format that makes it easy to follow along with formulas. What really makes this setup shine is the notepad that’s built into it. I didn’t realize how useful it would be until I started using it every day. The magnetic stylus feels smooth, and being able to jot down quick notes, steps, or rough sketches right next to the calculator saves a ton of time. I use it constantly for solving statics problems and quick trigonometry sketches without flipping through my notebook. The build quality is solid, too. The buttons have that perfect clicky feel, the cover slides smoothly, and the notepad erases completely clean every time. It’s lightweight but feels sturdy enough to toss in my backpack without worrying about it. If you’re a student in math, physics, or engineering, this combo is worth it. My nephew called and needed a scientific calculator for his math class, and this was my choice! It was affordable and what he needed, but the writing pad was my eye catcher, and wanted my nephew to know that his auntie did her research! It is so obvious the calculator is very durable, and has a great battery life because I asked to use it 2 months later, and the calculator is in one piece and still working!! The buttons are still in place and are still easy to press, and the writing screen still works! I am very happy and proud of my purchase because he's a tough,14 year old boy who throws his book bag without thinking!

I got this scientific calculator to help me with math problems that just beyond me. It has an interesting feature that I never seen before and should be real handy when needed. It had a note pad on it that lets you write down anything you need to remember and it locks so it don’t accidentally erase on you kind of unique. I wish we had these back in my school days. It seems to function very well and was a good price for such a nice piece of technology. As far as long last that will come with time but for now it’s a handy little tool for anyone in school or work to carry with them. It’s light weight and they say shock proof but they also said the titanic was unsinkable lol and look what happened. But for now it’s not a bad thing to have. Especially if you need help in the math department like me.

I’m an adult returning to college so I like to be able to do my pre calculus homework on my lunch break at work. This calculator/ writing pad combo is perfect for writing out the equations and working out problems while also having the calculator handy. I had a separate calculator and writing pad but they bounced all over the place in my bag. This is compact and keeps my notes so I can pick them up when I have time. The pen is a bit thin but to have it slot away in the calculator so it doesn’t get lost is very appreciated. The people who expect the writing to somehow transfer to the calculator, or can’t find the pen wouldn’t be able to do math that needed a scientific calculator anyway. My only complaint is that the writing side is not as thick as the calculator side to it kind of hangs in the air a small bit instead of laying flat on the table making it rock slightly when you write on it. But for the price it’s not a big deal.
