Excellent old school game, fun for family and friends.... Easy to learn, difficult to master.
I grew up playing this game with my mom and dad... we played this for hours and hours. Then I forgot it even existed... 50 years later, I looked it up on Amazon... and here it is. Easy purchase to make. The cards are EXACTLY the same art as all those years ago... it KIND of feels like maybe they are cutting corners on the card stock, seems fairly easy to bend or damage the cards... but maybe Im just old and clumsy. This game can absolutely be played with two people, but in my opinion is best served with three or four people. Attacking other players cards is part of the game, with only two people, it seems a bit cutthroat after a while since all attacks are just back n forth between the two people... rather than a larger group of four where sometimes you are attacked, sometimes someone else is attacked. When you are just two people attacking each other all the time, it becomes a different kind of game. Still worth it. PRO TIP: If you buy the game, dont be afraid to rewrite some of the rules based on your situation. For example, when we play with just two of us, we allow the Green light cards to also fix any other mechanical or legal problems... otherwise one of you could just be sitting waiting for a spare tire for almost (or all of ) and entire game... and never actually play. Another thing we tried, is, if there are just two of us playing, we take a minute and move HALF of the attack cards out of the deck and set them aside.. so there is less attacks happening and more of the other gameplay.

Great family game!
Such a fun flipping' game! Grandparents wanted my kiddo (age 6) to learn to play as they taught my brother and I to play as kids. It has been well received. However, the game can take a little longer to get through with 4 players when there's no more MPH cards to play especially when the grands won't play any "attack" type cards to cause an accident or run someone out of gas. Makes it hard to sit still when you're 6 or even 44 LOL They're regular playing cards with smooth surface, initially slippery to pick up easy to bend.

Mille Bornes family game
My daughter found this Mille Bornes game from here and remembered playing it when she was small. We have been playing it as a family game and it is so much fun. You try to get to 1000 miles before anyone else but beware because someone can give you a flat, run you out of gas, give you and accident or other things to slow you down. You can play as individuals or as teams. Buy this if you want to laugh and have fun while playing a family game. The cards seem durable and they come in a nice tin to keep them in.

Very fun
I bought Mille Bornes on a whim after hearing about it from a friend who grew up playing it. My family usually gravitates toward quick games after dinner, and this one seemed like it might be a good fit. It took a few rounds to get the hang of the rules, but after that, everyone caught on and started getting into the strategy. There’s a nice mix of luck and planning involved, which keeps things interesting. I like that you can play both cooperatively with a partner or go solo. The road theme is pretty unique, and it’s a bit different from most other card games we have. The rounds go fairly quickly, so it’s easy to fit in a game or two without making a whole night of it. The cards themselves feel decent and have held up well to repeated shuffling. The instructions are clear, and the box is small enough to bring along on trips. Overall, it’s turned out to be a good addition to our collection, especially when we want something a little different that still moves along at a good pace.

¡Altamente recomendado!

This was a game I played growing up at the cottage every summer. Just bought the game to teach my own kids - they love it just as much as I do. Great game for counting/adding up to 1000. Easy to follow instructions.
