I've tried about a dozen different brands, and the taurine is pretty much the same; either it's all extracted by the same company and rebranded, or the extraction process is the same. I put a scoop in an ounce or two of water and swirl to mix it up, and then drink it. I has almost no taste, and is very easy to take. I get this one because of the price. It works very well, is inexpensive, and the measuring scoop is very handy. The zip seal does come loose after time, but it's the same with most of the other brands. I just fold the top down and use binder clips to keep it closed. On my most recent purchase, the zip seal has held up longer than before, so maybe they've improved that. In short, I don't think there's any reaon not to get this one. It has become my go-to.

This dissolves nicely. No funky aftertastes. Good size bag for the price. It's nice being able to decide what the dose will be. The only reason there are four stars not five is because I haven't been taking this for very long. Can't be 100 if I haven't experienced it 100. I use other products from this brand too. Can't say I have complaints.

Why Taurine? You are not a kitty cat, but a cat will hunt down bugs like there's no tomorrow, why? If it doesn't get enough taurine, there's no tomorrow for it. It will die. No worries, cat food, by law are supplemented with taurine for this reason. Human? We can produce this on our own in your body. So, it's considered non essential, but don't be a fool. We are somewhat crippled and can't make enough on our own. We need help, and that's a long time ago. It's overdue. Taken taurine alone is much better than just the taurine in a can of your energy drink. (Take a look at the lable to find that taurine is part of that drink. ) What's more? We will see how it works after a few months but I am sure it will be all good.

I have seen an improvement in my cats since adding this to their dry food. My daughter let me know that despite it being added to cat food, it is not enough for them to continue to be active. They require more than is added to cat food. My older cat (5 years) got a lot more active after using this for only 1 day! just sprinkle on the food. I mix it in a bit, too.

One bag lasts a long time!
