I am using these metal pegboards as a wall-mounted easel and art supply storage in my at-home studio. That's not its intended purpose as I'm only mounting canvas/boards and art supplies versus tools. That said, the build quality is great. These panels are heavy-duty and very sturdy. I chose metal instead of plastic because of the latter's tendency to crack if mounted too tightly (per reviews I've read). Plus, when I priced it out, I got these for just a bit more than the plastic. So, the choice was a no-brainer for me. Overall, the 12"x12" design allows this to be customized for a perfect fit in just about any space. After some research and experimentation, I found hooks that worked out perfectly for me. I also found a paper towel holder with an integrated shelf that would not have worked on a plastic pegboard. The holes in these pegboard panels are standard-sized and every style of hanger I experimented with fit well. You can find some sellers who make thicker pegs for an even tighter fit if you need that. So, I doubt you will have problems with hanging your tools if you are using this for traditional purposes. With some creativity, I think you can easily maximize storage capacity of these panels for your space. I have enough room to work on a few small canvases or one large (36"x36") canvas with room left over on the right for storing my tubes of paint, paper towel dispenser and three wide-mouthed jars for my brushes. So, yeah, I'm real happy with my purchase. My only complaint would be that a few of the sides were bent a touch which made a couple not sit flush next to one another. Having said that, I think if you had large pair of needle-nose pliers, you probably could have fixed them. I used a hammer but with limited success.

I was looking for pegboards for my garage wall above the workbench and stumbled upon this one. First of all, these pegboards are not plastic, these are sturdy, good-quality metal pegboards. The one purchased came in a box with six pegboards, each one a size of 12 x 12 inches. These are very easy to setup using anyone of the two methods. These can be installed on walls using the supplied adhesive wall stickers or using the hardware option. Hardware comes with anchors, spacers, screws, etc. I would suggest first marking the area where you are going to install them, then precisely drilling the holes (4 corners/pegboard) and installing all of them at once rather than going working on one pegboard at a time. Hardware installation will allow these pegboards to hang heavy loading items without any problems. I didn't like buying pegboard hooks from a different manufacturer, as this product doesn't come with hooks..

They've updated the mounting hardware, so the instructions don't match what you get. There are no spacers, but it's fine. The screws they send work perfectly fine and it's easy to install. The pegboards arrived a little scratched/dented but I didn't mind since I'm using them in an unfinished space and pegboard never really looks great, does it? I liked that there were small individual pegboards so I had several options for how I could hang them in my space. The accessories kit is good. The plastic baskets feel cheap, but they actually do work well. It is worth the price paid, and I would purchase again.

It works how it should work. I've been wanting peg boards for years and finally committed to these. My tools are finally organized in a way that helps me to locate them easily.

We use these for our tool room/craft room. Includes screws and mounts for drywall. Fit securly and comes with a decent variety of attachments. Easy to install.

Good sturdy product. Easy to install...but instructions need an update since no washers are included nor needed.

Initially, I got a full kit for Christmas which comes with 6 panels. I ordered an additional 6 so I could expand. The panels are formed metal and seem sturdy enough to hang most thing from them which is way better than what I had. The screws supplied with the kit however were useless. The heads strip easy (yes, I was using the proper size Phillips) and three of them just snapped below the screw head. I was screwing into standard 2x4's. I eventually threw them away and used some screws I had. Note, I even pre-drilled for the supplied screws to see if that would help and the heads still stripped on about 50% of them. The screws I got with the additional panels I just automatically pitched. Other than that, the rest of the items were fine both in the kit and in the additional panels I bought.

Of course these are good but I should have ordered the other type with both the peg holes and the slots but I do make use of this
