ArduinoUNO R4 Minima [ABX00080]

Inexpensive board that is perfect for prototyping. Uses a simple usb-c cable (not included) to power the board and connect to your pc. No issues with it on Mac or Linux.Note that the board definitions are slightly different from the UNO R3 definitions. This means that if you have code that works on an UNO R3, you may need to make adaptations to get it working on the minima.

Good quality board, price is higher compared to what’s out there.

Decent little board in the Arduino ecosystem. Sure, there are more powerful boards out there, but for most projects I'll do, this does the trick. Only downside is the 8mA limit on outputs. It's kind of limiting. Pair it with a pocketful of transistors and you should be good.

I agree with You Tube that this is best for both beginners and advanced usersIt seems to work with Windows OK, but I can't get it to download a sketch in Linux Mint. Check update below.The built in DAC simplifies wave form generation without using the mcp4725 board.UPDATE: Working with Linux.If you wish to use the Minima in Linux like Ubuntu or Mint, download the shell script from Arduino Websiteto modify the Arduino Ide to recognize the usb port. Goto Select Other Board and Port.Select the proper Arduino UNO version and the PORT should show up on the right side.Check it (mark it to use) and you should be ready to go.

This unit looked and worked great, but I purchased for a specific project, which would not load on the board. It ran other programs fine. The program I wanted it for easily loads and runs on an Arduino Uno rev 3. Not a bad product just not right for me

Amazing quality! I love this arduino! I use it all the time! It is fast, accurate, powerful, works great, and is great for beginners.

These new Uno's are much faster and more powerful then their old sisters, I was impressed with the power of the new devices, I have now purchased both of the new units and have played with them enough to know the power that Arduino has added to the new devices. I can't wait till the Chinese get around to cloning them so the price will go down a bit, these are still a bit spendy but can be found at a reasonable price if you shop around enough, for example they are cheaper to get directly from the manufacturer then most of the online sellers who are still getting a premium because of the hype that surrounds the new release.

My first Arduino - installed the Arduino IDE on my laptop, configured it for the right board, and it ran example programs exactly as expected. Seems to be well made and no surprises so far.
