Bought this cabinet to retire an old steel file cabinet that I've had for many years and no longer need. This one fits perfectly under my workstation desk. Assembly is quite involved but easy to do once you get everything laid out. Be prepared to spend at least an hour minimum (or two) putting this together. All the parts were there (none missing) and everything fit together well. The drawer bottoms were a bit tight, so don't tighten up the screws until you get it in the slot. The hardware looks very good and seems to be pretty decent quality. The only thing I would change is the locks...each one has a different key. It would better if all were keyed the same so you didn't have to have three sets of keys. Another plus is all four wheels have locks so it won't roll around. The wheel under the front of the bottom drawer was a neat addition...to help keep the drawer from being stressed with the weight of many files (no lock on it as it's not needed). Overall, I like it and can recommend it. It'd make a great printer stand too. Do keep in mind, you must have patience when putting these type things together. If you don't have any, get someone else to do it for you.

I expected this cabinet to be the same cardboard type material we are all used to with inexpensive assemble yourself furniture so I expected this to be no different. It’s still cheap assemble yourself furniture but the quality is definitely better than average. It took a lifetime to assemble and almost had a meltdown when I was just about done and thought I was short an important part, but I think I was just tired and hangry by that point because I found the part. Cabinet looks great. I ordered another one. Helpful tip: the track shows as two separate parts in the manual but it comes as one part. You need to extend the track all the way, look at the side for a red arrow, push the tiny lever in the direction of the arrow and pull all the way out.

Overall, great filing cabinet for the money. You must have patience when putting it together. It is tedious to assemble. However, it looks nice and works well for our home office.

Easy to assemble. Looks nice. Drawers glide easily. The extra front support wheel is helpful to ensure it doesn’t tip so it’s very stable.

I purchased the 3 drawer file cabinet. It took way too long to assemble. When I got to the part where I put the drawers in, the middle drawer would not come out. I had to take it appart 3 times just to get it out. Each time I checked all of the screws, made sure the tracks lined up correctly. Nothing was different between the middle drawer and the other 2 drawers however, I was still unable to get the middle drawer out without taking the thing appart. Besides that, the color was not what i expected and it is built cheaper than I expected. A locking cabinet should not have any cardboard to it at all. Other reviews said it is good quality, I do not call part of a locking cabinet being made of cardboard good quality. I would not purchase this again.

Out of all the furniture I have bought this one was the best one. I didn't get frustrated while putting it together because the instructions were so easy to follow. I assembled it by myself. None of the boards stripped while putting it together. The drawers aligned very well. Very beautiful for the price. I definitely recommend you purchase this product.

Just finished putting together. The cabinet is heavy when assembled however, I think the weight comes from the amount of pieces, not the quality. Throughout the assembly, if screws are tightened too tight they just spin. So be mindful to tighten but not look for the screws to “stop” when secure. This particular unit has locks on it however the back of the unit is thin backer board that slides into the pre-cut grooves. If you’re looking for a highly secure cabinet, this isn’t it. The unit seems stable, the doors lined up. The cabinet is super cute in terms of aesthetics. With all honesty, I feel the cabinet is overpriced based solely on the quality and the backer board not making it secure. If you’re solely looking for cute, this is it. If you’re looking for functionality, quality, and security, keep looking. In addition, the ad showed two knobs on either side of lock to open and close; mine has only one knob and the lock is located in a different spot than pictured.

Vingli 3 drawer file cabinet is the most sturdy, functional, and attractive piece of furniture I have ever seen or bought on the web. It is very attractive--I moved mine to the livingroom because it's so attractive and blends well. Actually, I eventually ended up getting several of these file cabinets to fit under and around my corner desk. The spacious drawers all open and close beautifully; the cabinets are very sturdy and glide easily on bare floor or carpet, and they look great under the desk or alone. BUt what I want everyone to know is this: The company is remarkably helpful and a joy to work with. Just last month-- It was my own fault--I somehow misplaced one file drawer's 2 metal rods from which files hang and also complained that one side of one drawer's slides didn't function. No problem! Vingli promptly answered, promised to ship, and DID ship replacements at no charge! (It turns out--I learned when my handy-person went to replace the slide, we discovered that it was perfectly functional!.) Soooo NOTHING was really wrong with any of my file cabinets, but Vingli's response was stellar!
