010-12563-02 Edge Mountain Bike Mount

I wasn't happy about spending the money for this, but it is such a quality of life improvement. The Garmin device sits in the proper position and a better angle. It stays still when I press the buttons. I don't have to worry about it falling off. I've used the rubber band mounts for 15 years. During a ride, one of the rubber bands broke and my Garmin fell off. It was after a long, technical descent, so I got very lucky when I walked back up the trail and my Garmin was in the middle of the trail. At that moment I decided I needed a better way to mount it. Thinking back, the rubber band mount was a pain in the neck. It would sometimes move on bumpy descents. I'd have to hold the device a certain way in order to press buttons to not disturb the mount. This is the mount that the Garmin devices should have shipped with. I'd recommend it!

These are first impressions, as the item just arrived and after one ride. I purchased this mount for my (also newly arrived) Garmin Edge® 130 Plus. Using these on my mountain bike with 31.8mm handlebar. With the thinnest shim provided, this mount fits securely on my bar, right next to the stem. And it supports the Garmin Edge® 130 Plus perfectly. No slippage, and easy to mount and dismount the little computer. More expensive than other offerings, but in the larger scheme of bike expenses, a trivial difference. Because this mount is flawless. Six Stars!

This is perfect to clean up my MTB cockpit area. With bar bag, lights, gps, etc this mount let me move the unit back over the stem. Probably will order another for the CX/Commuter to move also over stem. This works especially well for me with the new bar lights I mounted that is a hard mount out front.

Quality Garmin product.. u can buy a knockoff but its worth the extra knowing its Garmin

Doesn't fit as well as I'd like. Does quite clear my stem. Still better than anything else I could find.

I purchased this Garmin mount after trying out another brand. This mount does not extend out in front of my bars like the other brand. While it is listed as a mountain bike mount I am using it on my road bike. It fit easily to my older handelbars with the included silicone bands (2 widths to fit more bikes) and pivots over the stem. It gives the option to change the angle/position of the Garmin gps. So much more secure than the stock rubber band attachment that was included with the purchase of the Garmin. Also a nice touch was the inclusion of the 2 allen wrenches needed to mount and adjust the mount. Maybe one suggestion to use the same size allen bolt for both the mount and angle adjustment.

This mount works very well. It holds the Garmin very securely. It is listed as a "mountain bike mount" but I think it would work on any bike that has handlebars. It can be rotated to hold the Garmin at the top of the stem (as I have done) or down near the middle of the stem. It can be mounted on either side of the stem. On older Garmin devices, the connecter tabs are at the 9 and 3 o'clock positions and the mount can easily be changed to accommodate this. Just remove the two screws on the back side of the mount (hex key provided), remove and rotate the connector 90 degrees and replace the screws to change the orientation of the mount. This is not mentioned in any of the descriptions that I have seen. As a result, I think this mount could be used for any Garmin device that uses the Quarter-turn mount system.

Hält mein Explore sehr gut fest, ist super verarbeitet und mit eine wenig ddrehen kann eine gute Position (nach Wunsch) für das Gerät gefunden werden. Nicht ganz so günstig, aber wie sagte man jemand: Da wackelt nix!

Ottimo supporto originale Garmin per MTB. L'ho preso originale perché mi pareva insensato acquistare un navigatore da MTB che costa un sacco e fissarlo sulla bici con una staffa che magari si stacca alla prima uscita per risparmiare una decina di euro. Quasi 40 euro per due pezzi di alluminio fissate con una paio di viti sono molti ma si sa che Garmin si fa pagare e quello che vende è sempre di qualità. Fissato al manubrio il mio Edge 530 è bello fermo e stabile.
