Lifesaver (literally) for my Grant Stone boots with leather sole
These are literally lifesaver for me after slipping multiple times in my Grant Stone boots with a leather sole. I really don't understand the allure of leather soles as they have least grip. Good luck walking straight on a wet polished floor. I had to get these for my own health and safety. These looks well made and is of good size to fit any boot. You will have to cut them to fit your boot size as the stock is too large for most of the boots. I don't think cutting them with scissors will be an easy job. I used my metal cutting shears to shape them roughly and then used the dremel sander to smooth out the rough edges and give a beveled edge. Used shoe cement to glue them in place and they seem to hold on to the leather sole quite well. I can't comment on longevity but so far they are working fine and seems like they can take some beating. Most importantly, they have good grip. I think I did half decent job with the finishing as they look quite nice and doesn't show up on the edges. I would recommend this product.

A great way to restore smooth-soled shoes
There seems to be misunderstanding about what these are. These are soles ideally for adding a lug-type tread to smooth-soled shoes, or repairing a worn-out smooth sole. They are about 3/8" thick at their thickest. You trim them to size with a good pair of scissors (not too difficult) and glue them to the shoe with a strong rubber adhesive (I use barge cement). I glued them to a pair of shoes with a smooth sole and they have transformed them, making them safe to wear in slippery conditions. The quality of these is superb, excellent rubber and not a flaw to be seen. I will order again.

I love all the negative reviews from people...
These are actually great. Maybe not what you were expecting for a dainty pair of heels; but i bought these with the purpose of resoling my size 9 *womens*Demonia boots after 2 years of almost daily use left the soles uneven and falling apart. I was afraid these wouldnt be wide enough because the boots I get are fairly wide and chunky. These actually were almost perfect. I had to trim them down a little (like you would with size varing insoles) and my one warning is they are THICK so please have a sturdy pair of shears to cut through these. They ended up breaking my kitchen shears (the heavy duty kind) and I ended up ordering industrial Scissors which made it a heck of a lot easier.

Worked perfectly
I used these to add new soles to the bottom of my boots, and the existing soles are this color. They arrive as two front pieces moulded together, the same for the two heels. That was confusing at first.! I had to trim them down, and after tracing them to my boots, cut them down with sturdy scissors even though they're quite thick. I made them a little bigger. I used Shoe Goo to adhere them to my boots -- and you need several clamps to keep them in place all around the sole piece. So, I did one of the four sections at a time. After the glue cured (I allowed overnight) I was able to trim the excess material down to a perfect fit. Finally, since the Shoe Goo is clear but shiny, I used a stiff brush (from my tool kit) to dull areas of glue that still showed. Worked fine.

Not for the amateur, no instructions
The product is quality, but came with no instructions, glue is separate, the soles are ,cut to fit. These are supplies for a, Shoe Repair shop that would have the practice and expertise on how to work the soles.

These rubbers won’t break
These rubbers really hold up and won’t let you down. Unfortunately, they don’t stick to your soul, but you get the goop stuff and they will stick.

Thinner than expected…deceiving pics showing thickness
They are incredibly thin. They don’t show a side view in the posting on Amazon, and the pictures that they have showing treated shoes makes it incredibly deceiving. If you are looking for something with a tread for winter, I do not recommend these unless you are putting them on a pair of dress shoes just for a little extra grip. If you are seeking a bot of height to keep your shoes dry, FIND SOMETHING ELSE
