After performing a complete remodel of our home we wanted great looking & great functioning toaster, and this is it. I always figured that a toaster is just a toaster. How exciting could that be? This toaster is actually pretty cool! Other than the fact that looks like it cost a whole lot more than it did, these wide slots toast very evenly and it has some thoughtful features, one of which I didn't even know about for the first 6 moths that I owned it :) If you slide the button down on the opposite end of the toaster it makes a little wire frame warming-rack popup that hovers above the open toasting slots. What's this for? I'm glad you asked. It's a place to set a bagel with cream cheese, for example, to soften things or just to keep your toast or muffins warm until you sit down for breakfast. At first I thought it was a gimmick but I actually use this feature frequently. My toaster is still working faithfully and I get a lot of nice compliments from company on my classy looking toaster. I recommend this toaster if you're in the market.

Not only does this toaster look good, it toast perfect. I shopped around looking for one I liked and a decent price. No lunch then it hit me Amazon and here’s where I chose the Mecity and so glad I did. No more burnt toast to throw away. It even has a digital countdown.

Made in China. Decent quality. Owners manual written by Americans. Toasts evenly. Seems to take a long time. Must be the wattage. The finish is nice. Great brand name for narcissists.

We love this toaster for our family. Especially the fact that it can fit up to four slices of bread at a time. We've had this for several weeks now and it still works great. My only complaint are the labels next to the buttons have all completely worn off and you can't see what the button labels are anymore. Also, the power cord comes out of the front which is odd, and it makes it awkward for plugging it in on the countertop.

I bought this for it's many features. Initially, it did not toast properly. It was either too light or too dark - on the same settings. It does have several 'toast color' settings, and the knob 'clicks' between each of these pre-set toasting colors - BUT IT DOESN'T VARY THE TOASTING. Set it on 4-1/2 and you still get 4. I tried 'manipulating' the way it toasted, but putting it through one toasting on light and then repeating this to get the color I wanted, but it then just burned it around the edges. It's quite slow in toasting too - 2-1/2 minutes to lightly toast (when it 'lightly toasted'), which was longer than my old toaster. (Said to be because it needs more voltage.) For the price of this 'non toaster', it is ridiculous that I have to toast, and re-toast to get the color I want - and possibly burn the bread - instead of just the 'old-fashioned method' of just toasting once IN A DECENT TOASTER! In addition, it is difficult to remove the toasted bread from the toaster. It does not have a 'lift' option to raise the toast higher, so you have to risk your fingers or dig the toast out with tongs or a fork - both possibly dangerous for electrical shock. I now learn that I am a few days past the 'returnable date', and having trouble sending the toaster to be repaired or replaced. I'm now trying to get Amazon to let me substitute this toaster for the one previously ordered that no longer works properly.

I studied dozens of toasters before making this purchase - this one had the features I was looking for, a small enough footprint and an easy to clean finish and crumb tray. It performs Exactly as promised!! I'm totally delighted with it. It's well crafted and a great value. I especially love the built-in warming rack and the controls. I can feel the dial click even if I can't hear it. The finish is brushed so it looks much neater. The crumb tray pops out easily and it's not a hassle sliding it back in. Highlights: built-in warming rack cool touch exterior dial "clicks" buttons light up buttons have words not pictures large timer Wish It Had: peek to view lift bagel image on top cover included I did buy a silicone cover for it here on Amazon and it works very well covering the slots. It wasn't expensive. This is definitely 5 Stars. It's heavy weight, very nicely crafted. It feels like it might last me the rest of my life. It does everything I need it to do and it does it just right. There are a couple of "extra" things I wish it could do in a perfect world. But I think this is close enough to perfect and I'm delighted!

So far, we are very impressed with the toaster. Great features, separate settings for bagels and reheat. The warmer function is nice. Super convenient 4 slice size. Stylish

This toaster is amazing works with longer pieces of bread no need to cram them in.. timer works perfect for lightly toasted or crispy.. fit bagels and waffles with ease. Overall look is fantastic Matt black with the rose gold gave our counter tops the perfect amount of colour definitely would recommend
