This is a sturdily constructed engine filter for our 2006 Prius. It also fits 2005-2010 models according to the listing. Seems likely. Installation was easy and it fit in the filter housing and sealed all around. The one slight issue is that the extraction tab (what I call it- may not be the real name) bumps into the housing a little bit as shown in the second photo. It did not interfere with the rest of the seal, so I didn’t cut to fit. Depending on how picky you are, you may want to trim 1/8” off the inside corner of the tab. I would not bother. That said, I don’t like that there is this slight misfit and so I reduced one star. I’d still get these filters at the price. So, best good, just not perfect.

Reviewing: A-Premium 2-PC Engine Air Filter Compatible with Toyota Prius 2004-2009, Rigid Panel, Replace# CA10159, 17801-21040 Fits both my 2005 and 2008 Prius. There seem to be fewer pleats (waves, not sure what to call them) on the A-Premium compared to my usual brand, but that shouldn't change the functionality of it. As for the price, I usually buy my regular type on sale, but the regular price for my Prius is $20-22, so a 2 pack for $34.99 seems reasonable. You would just have to remember where you put the 2nd one for the next time.

It fit the Prius but compared to the OEM Toyota filter there as way less filter media. The rubber gasket around the filter housing was loose and floppy but did fit. Will be good enough. Better to have a clean air filter with less filter media than a dirty filter.

Seems like a decent filter for the price. Was packaged nicely without any shipping damage. Fit to size for the ‘06 Prius. Pleats seemed nice and thick like the filter it was replacing, did not have any impression this was a cheap filter. Very handy it’s a 2 pack as well, although I’d rather it come with a cabin filter instead of an additional engine filter.
