I just bought a used 2012 Subaru Outback and the center cupholder has no divider to keep my coffee from tipping and spilling when I take a sharp tune a little too quickly or hit a nice bump. I ordered a plastic cupholder insert on Amazon, but it was a little too big for the space it needed to fill, plus there's a radius to the center console that the cupholder didn't have. Also, the circumference of the cupholder was a little smaller than the travel cup I use. So . . . back to the drawing board.I started with a Google search on the make, model and year of my car and this insert came up. There were multiple ones listed, so I picked one that was inexpensive and would arrive in the shortest amount of time. This is perfect! It snapped right in place immediately with no muss, no fuss. It's stable, not wobbly, as if it came stock with the car (I imagine one originally did). Now my coffee cup is secured in place, which is great when you live in the relatively rural northeastern US and snow, potholes, ice heaves, mud ruts and dirt roads are all part of the landscape.
