Our dog had an Op. He goes mental with a cone on so to ensure he couldn't get to wound we put these over wound inside his surgical suit. They are well made, of really good quality, absorbency is really good, lovely and large so you could cut smaller if you needed but we didn't as our dog is large. They'd also be brilliant for such as a human leg wound etc where you need a large dressing. They came well packed and each one is in a great sterile packet. So many uses and now I've got spares kept in case.

Good product

Good dressing, needed for a horses leg, that had a bad wound on it, this pad did a good job, stayed in place and didn’t stick to the wound, so it was good for the gradual healing that needed to take place. They were cheaper than ones that was from the vet, but did the same job. Wound healed well.

These are perfect dressings if you can not use plasters or have an allergy to adhesive dressings. I had these in 2 different sizes to dress a wound and used with tight clothing or Sports/vet bandages to keep the dressings in place. Absorbent, didn’t leak or stick to wound.

These are very soft, non adhesive wound pads. However, if you need something for a very "wet" or heavily leaking wound, or condition such as leaky legs, they are not very absorbent with high levels of liquid. For less, they will be perfect, due to size and comfort.

Any kind of persistently weeping or oozing wounds, this is the product to go for. They don’t let anything through, which other dressings were guilty of. If you don’t want the pads to adhere to the wound as it dries, then adaptic touch silicone gauze is an excellent membrane to stop this. Use that as the contact dressing before applying the absorbent pad. To keep it in place, I used cohesive bandage as it’s far more resistant to moving about (like standard bandages do). My mum has a pemphigoid condition which causes persistent blisters which burst and ooz. These pads have been great.
