I bought this for an old CD player to see if it still worked. While it fit, my CD player didn't work, so I can assume my CD player doesn't work and this is probably fine. I returned mine but it's low-cost enough that you should try this out.

Didnt work at all. Took it out of the box plugged it in. nothing. Tried a different adapter to make sure it wasnt my guitar pedal but it was the adapter, more chinese junk

Give a wide range of possibilities with this cord. Several interchangeable tips some can even be combined. It works great.
