StabiloPoint88 - Coloured Fine Liners - Great Product
I ordered these for my school work, as I find that different colours help me 'absorb' my notes more effectively. The pens themselves come in the self standing holder which is really helpful in keeping them organised and ensures that they will not become lost.In terms of the pens themselves, they feel comfortable to write with and I have been using them for a year now, with none of the colours becoming dry of ink.The fine nib means that these pens are only really suitable for writing or line work, so not for colouring in.As for the price, they may seem a little steep for a young child for school however you will find that these will probably outlive some cheaper brands. When purchasing these, I was unsure whether to get these or the Staedtler Triplus Fineliner 334 SB20 Tips Desktop Box - Assorted Colours (Pack of 20) as they are both similarly priced. However, even though the pen holder looks more sophisticated ith the Staedtler, I have found the triangular shape to become a pain after consistent use.Overall, I would recommend these pens to any students and will end up purchasing another set when these all dry up.

They are so versatile. I use them in all areas of design work, graphic work, brain storming etc
I first discovered these when I was in high school, 15 years ago and I love them still to this day! They are so versatile. I use them in all areas of design work, for graphic work, brain storming and work needing a key for explanation. Most recently I have used them for adult colouring books. With their fine nib, I can colour in intricate areas but can also colour bigger areas too. The nibs are strong, they eventually bend slightly with pressure and prolonged use but this in no way affects the flow of ink and the nib stays thin, in fact I like it when they mould to the angle I'm colouring as it flows on the page better and covers areas quicker. They are vibrant and don't fade. The hexagonal shaft help to grip the pen.I particularly like this pack with the array of additional colours, like soft pastels and the neons.I like that you can mix colours too when colouring, I.e shading a leaf with several greens. They don't bleed through the paper. They are water soluble, great for when my kids get their hands on them.Definitely recommend.

Deeply satisfying.
I have a confession to make. This is something that has haunted me for some years. It has ruined relationships and has left me ashamed and bankrupt. I don't want to admit this, but the fact is; I'm a stationery-phile. Many a day I have pulled my hood up to hide my face and prowled the aisles of Paperchase or WHSmith, basking in the taudry act of pen shopping. "It's just one pen" I'll tell myself, but soon one pen becomes two dozen pens, a notebook and a kitsch jar of paperclips. The look of disgust on the sales assistant's face is enough to make me scurry back to my flat, brown paper bag full of plunder in hand, and shut my curtains so that the world can't see me while I write. But then I came across this sexy set of fineliners. They are long-lasting, have stylish colours and allow me to colour in my art-therapy colouring book. They come in a little deskset that opens up and allows you to organise your colours in the most satisfying ways possible. They don't seem to smudge, and you can draw with them or write a letter without that clunky affect you get with felt-tips where it bleeds and becomes illegible. But the best thing about it is it can be bought online, where no one knows you or can judge you. You can colour with the peace of mind that only comes with anonymity.

Beautiful pack of pens, much cheaper than in the shops.
I wasn't sure whether to buy the pack of 12 mini pens or the pack of 10 full size but I am pleased with my decision to get the desk set of 20. I would agree with a previous reviewer that the colour distribution is uneven - 5 blue shades compared to 3 green and 1 orange and 1 yellow. I prefer the blue shades anyway so that doesn't bother me. Most of the shades are very pigmented. Three of the colours (yellow, light brown, peach) don't stand out much on white paper but are still ok for underlining and drawing with. All the pens arrived in good condition. The set looks smart and because of the holder I won't lose them as easily. I use these pens for note-taking, highlighting, writing birthday cards and small sketches/drawings. I wouldn't use them for colouring in because it would take ages.

Good Pens. Would definitely recommend for the price!
Was very impressed for the price. A nice set of pens that feel good to write with (especially after a few uses, I often find that brand new fineliners can be a bit scratchy until they're "worn in"). They feel fairly sturdy and I've been using them for quite a while and they don't seem to have lost any quality or started to run out of ink yet.Dropped 1 star because I felt that some of the colours on the lids/tips didn't quite match up to how it looked on the paper. Not too much of a problem once you get used to it but still an inconvenience.

Best set of 0.4mm fineliners!
I bought these alongside the full set of Pen 68s and was delighted to find that the colours are almost the same in both sets (there is a pastel purple in the 88s and a few other very subtle differences), so it’s mainly just the nib widths that differ between the two, which makes them the perfect combination for adult colouring books. I have several sets of 0.4mm fineliners in my collection and these are head, shoulders and then some above the rest. As with the Pen 68s they have intensely-pigmented colours, are light and easy to hold, and have ink that flows freely (which I have discovered is actually quite difficult to find in a fineliner). Absolutely love them. More colours would be great, however there are enough shades here for a wide variety of colour schemes and they make colouring a real pleasure. Another brilliant high-quality product from Stabilo - you really do get what you pay for. Very highly recommended.
