3380 Automotive Borescope with Light, 2.7" Inspection Camera, 39" Extension, IP67 Waterproof Digital Scope

This thing works awesome!! Wish would have bought before now but have put it to use many times since it arrived. Picture is great and no disappointments.

Yet another great product from Innova. The Innova 3380 borescope is perfect for automotive use. It's tough and can handle the automotive environment and being tossed around in the toolbox. It's camera cable is long enough for automotive use, but not too long so it's easy to use. Its IP6 protection keeps the camera safe. Lighting is bright and the screen is clear and bright. The unit is easy to manage in one hand. The controls are intuitive and do everything you need for a borescope at this price point. And the best part is, you'll never be caught with a dead charge and having to wait and hour or more to recharge it. It uses AA batteries, which these days have a long shelf life and last longer than rechargeable. And when they die, it takes less than 2 minutes to replace them. Perfect!

Good quality viewing in a basic borescope. Good value for the sale price even though you can't take a picture to reference later.

This inspection camera is well designed and constructed. It has adjustable brightness, contrast and color balance. It can flip the image 180 deg. The camera diameter is 8mm (5/16") so it can fit through tiny passageways. The image is clear. The depth of field (distances that are in sharp focus) is from approximately 1" to 12". Beyond 12" the image is still good but it begins to get less sharp. So this tool is for inspections relatively close up. Perfect for automotive work, for example. I needed customer service and they were fantastic. I installed 4 "AA" single-use lithium batteries so I can store the tool for long periods of time without fear of battery leakage that you can get when using alkaline batteries.

Sceen is really too small to see and the tip doesn't bend enough to see what you're really trying to look at .quality seems fine but would not move around in the cylinder to inspect the whole piston

Outstanding quality Tool

Works great really helps out looking in tight places. I use it to check valves without having to pull the head. Light works great.
