Works well. Even used it to drain my coolant. A rust chip caught in the pump gear and I thought it was broken. Easily unbolted the case, cleaned it and bolted it back. it was as good as new. Drained my trans too. Tight fit in the case but good enough.

Great oil extractor pump! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I’ve been using this pump for about a month now, and it works perfectly. It runs quietly and removes the oil quickly without any mess. I really like that there’s no need to lift the car or remove the drain plug — just insert the hose, connect the power, and it does the job. The body feels solid, hoses fit tight with no leaks, and it’s easy to clean afterward — I just run a bit of clean oil through it. Works great not only for cars but also for small engines like generators or boat motors. If you service multiple vehicles, this tool truly saves time and effort. It is a good pump. It runs slow at 12 volts, not tried it at 24v yet. It also runs hot, I put a house fan on mine. The pickup 6mm/1/4" tube was about 12 inches/26mm too short, but I had some irrigation tube that is the exact same size. Note that my car uses more oil than your average car, it's a 2015 SL400 Benz. So the tube might be a good length for 90% of the cars, it is long enough for my 2008 Prius. So, they could improve this pump by: Offer a household 120v AC to 12v DC adapter. I used my battery charger to power mine as the Benz battery is in the trunk. Make the pickup tube 12 inches longer. Either include a fan or add some heat sink fins. The pros of this pump: Good case & instructions They include caps for the tubes so it does not leak all over your house. Not as loud as other pumps. While the speed is slow, it has never failed to extract 99% of my oil, both in transmission and oil pans. It works well for filling as well as extraction. It done not have problems if it runs dry Other pumps suffer from this, but this pumps seems OK if this happens. It is not the cheapest, but is well made and almost all metal. Other pumps have more plastic. I'm going to keep it and it will be my primary pump. It can be improved, but all of these small pumps have issues, at least this one seems rugged. Dave

I own a 2019 GMC Sierra Denali and purchased this item with the intentions to change the oil without making a big mess. It’s advertised that it will help you change the oil on just about any vehicle you may have. I took it out of the plastic box and set it up exactly as stated on the instructions. Come to find out the 6mm plastic tube that’s inserted in the dip stick tube does not go all the way in to the oil pan, so the old oil can not be extracted. How is the oil suppose to be extracted if this tube is not small enough to reach the oil pan? It would have been nice to see it actually work. I’m sorry but 1 star is all I can award this product.

Took this to the lake last weekend to change the oil in 5 of my engines. Warmed up the engines first to help with the extraction. This product worked awesome and it was faster than what I expected from the reviews! I also love that I don't have a vacuum repository that I need to reverse multiple times and empty back into 4 qt containers. I just pumped into two - 5 gallon Home Depot buckets and put this product back into it's container. No mess, not even a drop spilled.

There’s so much junk out there. It literally makes you sick when you open this case and you pick this pump up you can tell it’s American Made you can feel the strong steel in your hand so easy to use. Thank you for a perfect product.

I used the pump to service the hydraulics and chain case on a Bobcat skid steer. During initial operation, it became apparent that the supplied suction line, measuring approximately 1/8”, contributed to a notably slow pumping rate. To address the issue, I upgraded the fitting to accommodate a larger suction line. This adjustment led to a significant improvement. Although the process was not timed, an estimated 60 liters were pumped within a reasonable time-frame. The overall performance of the pump was impressive after upgrading the suction line. While the supplied 1/8” suction line may be suitable for certain uses, switching to a larger line can significantly improve efficiency, especially for applications that require moving larger volumes. The pump managed the additional load without any significant issues. However, it is important to note that operating under these increased demands may potentially shorten the overall lifespan of the pump.

Received pump hooked up too my Range Rover and it worked excellent, Fast forward 2 months hooked too another Range Rover turned pump on will not start. Went too my orders on Amazon and was informed that I was past my return date so that one oil change was a little expensive. Also can not find any info or support for my issue so I would advise buyers to beware.

Plastic clip to hold oil line arrived broken and unusable. Can Dart LLC send me another.
