Fun to do and turned out great!
Some tips: - Steam the canvas with a clothes steamer before starting in order to remove the creases from shipping. - The brushes are better quality than some other kits I have used, but they will still shed. It should last you through the whole painting but if you have other fine tip brushes probably use those. This was fun to paint with nice bright colors. Like other reviewers have noted, some of the paint was dried and not usable. Some were drying and needed be rehydrated—I added some water to these pots and they were ok. Also, luckily I had some other acrylic paint on hand to mix the same colors to make up for the dried ones. Something other may want to consider before buying. Overall turned out great though!

So beautiful
So pretty. This paint by number takes a long time because of all the really tiny space but it turns out amazing.

Fun to paint, looks great
I really enjoyed painting this, an activity during the Covid isolation. It looks great when finished, I like all the colors involved. Like many paint by numbers kit this came folded in a box. So I used an iron to flatten it. The iron setting is medium and we pressed on the backside of the canvas. I could not get it completely flat, but the process of painting also flattens it a bit. By the end the creases are very hard to find. Like many paint by number people I have a set of brushes and used them mostly instead of the ones provided. This kit does include a very wide brush, and this was useful for the large blue area that is the sky. There is no blending (or blurring) required for this kit, which I liked as I am not very good at those techniques. I did have to make a custom lighter purple, as colors 11 and 12 were too similar shade of dark purple, so I used left over white from another kit, and an empty cup from another kit, and custom mixed a color to replace 11. This was my first foray into custom mixing but it came out well.

Overall great!
Beautiful picture! All the colors were good. I mixed them with a bit of water to make it easier to spread otherwise it can look weird due to the grainy texture of the canvas. More complex than it seems, took me much longer to complete than anticipated. The last color (black, 21) was not labeled on the picture which made it a bit difficult to find. Don’t worry about the folds, the canvas will straighten out after fully painted.

Fun Project for Stale Artist
Been having a difficult time getting back into painting. Let me tell you, these paint by numbers are fantastic so far. Gives me an easy target to paint and baseline, then go back in and work on shading etc. Colors are a bit off, but if you understand how they make these kits it's kinda understandable. Getting the right combo of limited colors to get the right amount of definition is tough. I feel like these did the original picture justice. Pro Tips: Get reading glasses, I don't care how young your eyes are, it helps (unless your nearsighted, if that's the case, this is defin the hobby for you!!); buy some better brushes (they don't have to be pricey, I did this full painting with a tiny spotter brush); keep the reference picture and the black and white print out handy while painting, it's easy to get lost after you've done a section and the blue and purple start to get tough to follow late in the painting; if your paint dries out, just add a drop of water, it will loosen up the flow nicely; if you have an old canvas frame, even if it's painted, you can take this canvas and staple gun it over to have a good surface to paint on... I think that's about it. I'd give this a 4 out of 5, since it is a bit difficult at first. This was my first paint by number, and it took me about 2 months in between work and other hobbies. So really not a bad gift for first timers either. Happy painting!!!

Tough but doable
Wife of account holder here. I purchased the kit with the frame and I'm super happy I did. This design is not going to be as detailed as the actual picture (most pbns from artwork or photos won't be as accurate) but the detail I got is beautiful. I do my pbns differently, I only use metal toothpicks to paint with (old habit from my childhood days of doing these) and the detail really comes out well. If you take your time and use very small brushes you can get some fantastic results. The quality of the paints was fine, there was plenty of paint. Any that were too thick were easily managed by adding a couple drops of water and mixing as I went. I do this several times depending on on how tacky the paint in the pot gets as I keep it open. This really extends the life and use of the paint. The zoomed out photo is in more natural light and the pinkie version was under some purple lighting reflecting off blue walls.

95% of the paint was dry, too thick, or almost chalky.
I like the design and the price, I also like how easy it is to read, but the only problem is the paint. Several of the colors were so dry I was able to take them out and actually play with them, they had a clay consistency and there was no wet paint at all to the color. Other colors were chalky- like putting your paint brush in and pulling it out of the color and it comes out in almost a chalky consistency. Others were so think it was hard to paint with them. I think about 2 or 3 of the colors were actually good, like the consistency paint is supposed to be. It really sucks because I wanted just the paint replaced because I like this one. But any options I see are for a return or a replacement and unfortunately I had started painting before I had realized that several of the colors were just unusable.

I would say that it’s not the easiest paint by number. There is a lot of tiny details. You must have a good sight or a magnifier if you don’t. It took me several hours split between few weeks to complete it. At the end, I should’ve go back to refine some details. It’s only near the end that you see what can be improved by blending more the colour or by sharpening other area. Overall, I’m really pleased with the final result. There was enough of each colours. They were quite pigmented but I had to do a second layer on few places.

Super Ergebnis. Macht total Spaß zu malen. Die Farben sind gut deckend, bei helleren Farben bin ich zweimal drüber damit Man die Zahl nicht mehr so durchsieht. Hängt auch bei mir an der wand.
