DD Tarp 4x4 - MC

Absolutely great tarp really lightweight for its size 4x4 I originally bought it so that we had a covered area down at our local dogging area for orgys and the like But unfortunately due to the Incredible camouflage pattern no body could actually find us so I was forced to remain on my own and had to entertain myself All night 😔 ... with cooking on my stove and making brews whilst layed there staring up at the night sky contemplating the mystery of life and the strange nocturnal sounds coming out of the darkness.

Very big and comes with 4 tent pegs and cord. Personally I have replaced the cord with 550 paracord and chose carabiners but that is just preference. There are so many loops on this you can mount it how you like. Very strong and a nice pattern. I kept the case but have put the tarp into a dry bag so I can squash it down nicely. I don't want to fold the tarp as it can dry out in the sun and make weak points so dry bag you can just stuff it away as you see fit and squash it down. The fabric seems to be very strong and durable. I suspect this will last for many years. There are straps holding it all together so noty likely to wear out any time soon.

I love this tarp. I bought it to cover my 12ft hammock which it dies, easily. As with all DD tarps the quality is excellent. It's quite heavy though and this may put off some ultra light campers. All in all it's fantastic.

Outstanding quality plenty of ways to hang, covers your hammock with room to spear only problem is its huge and not easy to fold away if you're on your own, but a must-have 10/10

Arrived super quick. Tarp is great quality with plenty strong attachment points. The camo pattern is superb and on our first outing it blended brilliantly with our surroundings in our local woods (see photo). Can’t wait to try other setups with this tarp and glad we chose the 4x4 size, perfect for 2 people and our gear. Although it comes with 4 guys and 4 pegs, I recommend you buy some extra para cord and pegs to properly get the most from this tarp. Very happy.

Overall this is a great tarp. Too big for backpacking, but perfect for my canoe and car camping adventures. It is sturdy, pitches well and covers enough area for a picknic table and two adults to move around. In a pinch you can get a small tent under it, too. (In the picture the far end of the tent and one bench of the table are getting wet.) I did knock off a star because the material stretches when it gets wet. So when it rains the tarp starts to droop and sag a bit. It is annoying that the main thing you have a tarp for is the thing that makes it sag. Though it is the last thing you want to do in the rain, once you tighten your guy lines it functions just fine. It hasn't leaked for me yet and I have used it on a fair few trips over the last two years. Nothing beats a quality siltarp, but for the price this is a good option.

Faites le calcul : Pour un tarp de 3 mètres , l'espace entre les brins est de 75 cm . La tente fermée des deux côtés mesure deux brins en longueur : 2 x 75 cm = 150 cm La tente fermée que d'un côté mesure trois brins en longueur : 75 cm x 3 = 225 cm Pour un tarp de 3,5 mètres , l'espace entre les brins est de 87,5 cm . La tente fermée des deux côtés mesure deux brins en longueur : 87,5 cm x 2 = 175 cm La tente fermée que d'un côté mesure trois brins en longueur : 87,5 cm x 3 = 262,5 cm Pour un tarp de 4 mètres , l'espace entre les brins est de 100 cm . La tente fermée des deux côtés mesure deux brins en longueur : 100 cm x 2 = 200 cm La tente fermée que d'un côté mesure trois brins en longueur : 100 cm x 3 = 300 cm Son poids est de 1580 gr .

These are really good tarps.They are waterproof fairly tough lasts, a good time and look good.I'd recommend them over most

初代DDタープの3.5×3.5が突風に煽られて破れてしまったのを機に4×4を購入。タープのみでの使用なら3.5でも余裕でしたが、車中泊時に車に被せるようにして使いたくて4にしました。 3.5は5年間。。それまではどこも傷むことなく雨風から守ってくれてました。とんでもない突風でしたので破れてもしょうがないと納得。4×4は広いですね。まだ新しいので撥水もしっかりしています。 ただ、DDは撥水といより防水といった方がいいかもしれません。使うごとに撥水は効かなくなります。防水はしっかりしているので私は気になりません。また、DDの迷彩の柄がとっても綺麗！！日差しやライトで透過されるのを見るとうっとりしてしまいます。 タープとしてはもちろんテントやシェルターとして使えるのにとっても小さく、軽いので常に車に常備しています。ちょっとした隙間に突っ込んだり、車中泊での段差解消にも一役買ってくれてます(笑)
