Very good for the money although as other reviews state, its quite a powerful lift and if not careful you could lose some teeth. Please ensure you hold the boot lid when opening.perfect fit and very easy to install

These dont fully open the boot in 1 movement. They stop half way and sometimes have to be pushed up by hand

Great product. Instructions would be helpful. You need small flat head screwdriver to prize out circlip . A handy tip when refitting is this .... prize out the circlips partially on the new units so they can be pushed home when on the car . Make sure you have a safety support in place to stop boot lid falling when replacing these units. They cannot be contracted by hand only contract when on the car so dont think they are faulty when they arrive.

Can’t fault the item on price but when you open the boot the opening speeds up & if your head is in way you will get a powerful punch. Not sure if it’s a bedding in issue otherwise happy with purchase

Be careful these are very strong you need to hold the boot as it opens or it will rip the hinges off. No instructions for fitting. With hindsight I wish I had spent more money and bought genuine ones.

Excellent product, easily fitted in less than 5 minutes. Good value for money.

Trying to contact the seller. These rams are very aggressive for the first part of the opening. I fear they could break your hand if still holding the boot release. They would certainly break your jaw if you don't stand back. I have had several XC90's and know the normal boot opperation is quite smooth.
