I like knowing exactly what I’m giving my dog and this being a single ingredient treat made me feel a lot better about it. The pieces are light, easy to break apart, and perfect for training rewards. My dog is usually picky but he gets excited as soon as he hears the bag open. No weird smell or greasy residue either. Great quality treat and I’ll definitely keep buying these.

Amazing treats! My puppy loves these, they don’t have an odor, they also break up into smaller pieces for giving treats and training. My pup love the flavor, and they have clean ingredients.

My dog loves these. She is very picky with treats and food but she loves these. I was drawn to the fact that it was only one ingredient. It feels like very soft and not crunchy for my dog to eat. It does not smell bad or anything so I don’t know what others are smelling. Definitely could be used for training but I sprinkle some in my dogs food to get her to eat.

I used to buy Pure Bites, but they've not only gotten more expensive, the last batch I got was hard as rock and looked dark like they'd been over cooked. I chop these Vital Essentials treats up small and give them to my little, very senior cat (18 years old in July) who has some missing teeth. She loves them. It's worth it to me because I know I won't have her much longer....Bottom line: better price and better product.

This thing stinks lol but my dogs LOVES it, with them loving it I'd say that the quality is great.

We acquired our very first ever puppy 9 months ago. Having absolutely no knowledge of dog treats or snacks, we decided to try many different kinds and brands to see which worked best for us and appealed most to our dog. We have since purchased and used over 25 different treats. Along the way we became acquainted with single ingredient freeze dried products and are currently transitioning into only providing single ingredient, freeze dried treats as we think they are the healthiest options on the market. We had purchased and used several packages of Vital Essentials, including the chicken breast, from Amazon and were very pleased with the product. Unfortunately the last package of Vital Essentials Freeze Dried Chicken Breast appeared to have gotten tossed around during the shipping process and arrived in crumbles. I contacted Vital Essentials. I was fortunate to be able to speak with Michelle P. in Customer Service and she was an absolute delight to deal with. She was quite knowledgeable of your products and was able to share her knowledge with me. Beyond that, she was very positive and pleasant and extremely helpful. I am 73 years old and was thoroughly impressed by Vital Essentials Customer Service. In a quick, pleasant, and efficient manner Michelle P. was able to resolve the issue...and then some. Many of my contacts with various Customer Service departments have left me frustrated for a wide variety of reasons. It was simply wonderful to have such a positive experience with Vital Essentials Customer Service. As a result, we will always have Vital Essentials treats available for our dog.

My chihuahua, penny, loves these treats. One ingredient, freeze-dried chicken breast pieces is my go to treat for her. She's an older girl and has no teeth left so the softness of this product is still soft enough that she can gum instead of chew. These streets are so good that she's becoming even more spoiled if that's even possible.She deserves a very best but this girl is getting out of control with these treats. Lol

Broken down into small sized treats. Two packages nicely filled my dog treat bin. The dogs love it and are satisfied with it. This was exactly what we thought it would be, an exactly the kind of single ingredient treat that we like to feed our dogs.
