Well designed, light shelving unit . Good stability (with proper distribution of items stored) and quite easy to assemble. An excellent, reasonably priced storage solution with good capacity. ideal for a nook or cupboard where it can be wheeled in and out easily. I like that the distance between shelves can be adjusted as needed. Good value for money.

The operative word must be "well" as its well protectively packaged, well designed for tool free assembly and well strong! Doddle to assemble and the version I picked had adjustable feet to level it up if required. It's smart enough for household use if you choose the wheeled version perhaps as a kitchen/dining room trolley or will hold substantial shelf weight for utility room or shed storage. So pleased with my first one I reordered straight away and am now wondering where else they might be useful arround the house. In summary it's well made, everyone fits where it should and it looks smart a clear recommendation and hats of to Amazon as its from their great value basic range which so far has always exceeded my expectations.

Nice and easy to put together - very sturdy. Holds a decent amount of weight whilst being lightweight itself. If you can afford if, buy this instead of the plastic versions on offer- I've had multiple of the plastic ones over the years and they break over time - this metal unit seems very sturdy and well built and will be better value for money long term This also has 4 adjustable feet which is perfect as I have this at the side of my tumble dryer in my garage where the floor is not perfect

First off let me state that I really like this shelving unit. It was to fill a cupboard that we had created by putting a door on an unused corridor next to a staircase. So the new room was an awkward shape, filled with pipes and fuseboxes. The first thing that attracted me to this particular shelving was the range of sizes and the weight capacity. This one fitted my particular need to a tee. I have other cupboards in the house that I will get around to fitting and in all likelihood this range will be my choice. You can't get a better recommendation than that. When the box arrived I laid everything out to check it was all there and that was when I noticed the big problem. The instructions. Almost no thought appeared to have been given to ease of use. I can understand the rationale behind having everything done by illustrations but come on, do they have to be so small? I am not entirely useless when it comes to assembling flat pack furniture but these are by far the worst set of instructions I have seen. Luckily assembly is very straightforward once you get the system sussed out and it all went together quickly. The racks are fixed to the wall by means of a clip, screwed in, and a cable tie. Utilitarian but it does the job. I bought the chromed version. Personal preference and the bright bits look as if they might last well. I don't want to put anyone off with the thought of poor instructions as this is a good shelving range. If you are confused by tiny, poorly described instructions, don't worry. It's not that hard to work out and you won't break anything if you get it wrong.

The shelves are easy to put together, there's a bit of trickery with the clamps :) But its all good figured it out in 5 min, not really needed instructions as the whole layout makes sense. However, they do help if this is your first project. I put one together in 1/2 hour (next one will be a breeze) and they look stable, overall smart and tidy. Easy to move and very sturdy and good quality. The layout of the shelf can be changed if needed, so future-proofing in mind. It honestly is value for money.

These storage units are phenomenal in my opinion. They look good for what they are, if they look good in a living room or a storage room is down to personal preference, but the functionality is amazing. They are sturdy, easy to put together and are not ugly. I bought another brand wheeled storage unit before this, and it was so weak and badly designed in comparison to this one. This one was only £5 more at the time of purchase. Do not hesitate, if this is the type of storage unit you want, forget all the others and get this one. In response to some of the negative reviews about the clips not fitting properly. I agree they do not go all the way around the bar, but they sit inside of the holes in the shelves as the shelves go over the bars/legs. once pushed down evenly they sit snugly over these clips and the shelf is them secured and wont move.

Well finished item - good value - very sturdy. Will be used to stack our Christmas decorations, etc in our garage.

Ive become a superfan of amazon basics fpr the quality it delivers. These shelves come well packaged and comes also with all you need to install with a manual that is not confusing and even eith out manual it is easily DIY installable. The shining detail of it is that it comes with optional wheels that you can install to give you ease of mind while cleaning behind it or moving it to different place while keeping what on ghe shelves as it moves very sturdy and easily. I strongly recommend it

The unit is welded steel, with good chrome coating (not recommended for use in moist or wet environments, as they will rust over time.) The product is strong and fairly sturdy, as long as the locking collars are FIRMLY seated (I recommend using a small hard rubber, wooden, or hard plastic mallet; NOT a metal hammer) I really like the versatility, and the fact multiple units can be assembled into a larger units or even wall-units by sharing the poles. (see note below about accessories) I have included some image details: The unit comes with FOUR solid legs, and TWO locking wheels (hard-rubber 3" casters, and TWO free-rolling hard-rubber 3" casters. Assembly variations could be used, for instance, one half-height rolling cart, and one half-height shelf unit could be made with a single package, purchase two packages for many possibilities. As you can see, I store 23kg (50lb) water bottles on the lower shelf, I have put up to five on that one shelf, and it took the weight. If you store heavy items, PLEASE spread the load out, and put the heavy items at the bottom, NOT up at the top. The stability is MUCH better if you do not use the wheels. Also, one could use plumbing clamps to fix the unit to a wall a cosmetically pleasing way. The unit comes with TWO extra plastic locking collars, in case one is damaged or lost (see note above about NOT using a metal hammer for assembly which may sheer off the tiny ridges inside the plastic collars) If the collars were aluminium instead of plastic, I would give this a solid five-stars. I have worked with these units in SEVERAL commercial locations in the past. These are EXCELLENT value for the price. They last practically forever, as long as you don't try to constantly take them apart and reassemble them, because the plastic locking collars are not really designed for multiple reassembles MANY parts, such as spare collars, wheels, extra shelves, shelf dividers and several innovative accessories are available from the manufacturer: "Vancouver Classics", Amazon prohibits off-website links, so just search for them online. :)
