First of all, I have to say that these arrived quickly. The built quality/paint quality appears high. The paint was applied very well and even. These are heavier than the factory ones. I was able to easily remove the old ones by jacking up the truck from the frame, just in front of the axle, removing the tire and the bottom shock bolt. I put a smaller bottle jack under the side of the axle I was working on the raise and lower. I also placed a jack stand under the frame for safety. Simply lower the axle, push up on the factory spring from the lower mount, and pull out carefully. Remove the rubber isolator from the top of the old spring and place on top of the new spring. Put the new spring back in place and use the bottle jack to jack the axle up and make sure that the spring is seated in the upper seat (the lower one will self-center). Bolt the shock back, torque to 100ft/lbs and put the tire back on. The truck sits around 1.5-2” higher on my truck with a fully loaded tool box. You will immediate notice the difference in added support. The ride is not much rougher from factory, and is surprisingly good. Body roll feels a bit different, possibly due to stronger spring rate in rear and softer, factory rate in front? It took a little getting used to, as I have had my truck for 7 years. The real benefit is hooking up the trailer. There is a drastic difference in squat and much less, “porpoising” while driving fully loaded. Our travel trailer is much more stable. The weight distributing hitch does not have to be set as high, and frankly, the truck was completely level. We are on a two week trip and I drove the trailer almost 900 miles through Texas, New Mexico and into the mountains of Colorado. I am extremely pleased with the performance of these springs. Air Bags and heavier bump-stops never made sense, as these springs are the best alternative and are cheaper than the other options. If you tow and carry heavy loads, this will help tremendously.

Ajustan correctamente en una (MEX) 2013 RAM 1500 ST V6 3.7. Antes de montarlos pudimos ver que estos resortes son incluso ligeramente más cortos que los originales pero con el diámetro (del alambre) más robusto, pero esto no afecta su correcto ajuste en los lugares donde asienta, incluso calza perfecto en los aislantes superiores. El resultado es que una vez montado y ya sobre el piso, la pickup conserva su altura original (esta debe medirse del centro del eje -centro del rin o tapacubo- a la parte superior de la salpicadera). Solo cambia que opondrá más resistencia a la nivelación de la batea cuando está cargada y no se bajara tanto como los OE, más aún si ya estaban vencidos.
