This is an exceptional cooler. I don't know how it manages, but it's keeping my 9800X3D really cool, typically under 65C during long gaming sessions. This is the 🐐. Just wish they'd bring back the full black model. Swapped to a noctua fan, but the stock fan it comes with is really good as well. I clipped a 15mm chromax fan to mine. Cannot beat the value or performance in it's class. Functionality is as intended, and surprising exceeds expectations. The noise level depends on your use case. Instructions are straightforward and installation is super simple.

Bought this for cooling an old Intel 4470K in a 4U rack mounted case. Fits just fine, but the mounting screws don't have any sort of springs in them, so you can easily overtighten, or (just as bad) tighten unevenly on the processor. Both mean you could easily crack the processor, or damage the motherboard. Also tried on LGA1200 and LGA1700 processors, and sadly, just the same. If you want something that does the job, look at a Coolerguys unit instead.

Recived product different from those showed in the YouTube. 1. There is no protection sticker on the base. 2. There is a square grey mark on the base. 3. The 4 mounting feet are not even. Put it on the glass surface. One of the mounting foot is about 1mm shorter than the rest. Could be due to it has been used and bent. 4. There is grey glue thing on the heat pipe at base as well.

The copper heat sink is about as good as it gets, but you are going to want to slap a better fan on it. I replaced the stock fan with an equivalent Noctua, which ran cooler and quieter.
