I ended up buying a full-body silicone protective case which made it so I couldn't use the dock from Valve. In comes this beauty to save the day. The dock slides in the bottom and voi la, you rest your fully dressed Steam Deck on top. Great quality and perfect size. The only problem is that it ends up being a bit higher than the original dock, meaning the Deck might cover part of whatever you rest it in front of me. For me that's my computer screen. All in all, however, it does exactly what it set out to do and it does it well. Essential if you're using a full-body protective case.

Awesome little stand, nice solid sturdy quality. Plenty of room at the back for a dock to be Rubber strips along most edges to stop slippage,scratches etc

This is an awesome add on to the official dock...always had issues with the official dock just not liking my steamdeck having a case or back on it...I want to protect it and be able to grab and go as well as dock it for some games...the official dock just slides right in and I can keep my flip case on the console now...it is only for the official dock and its not an actual dock...think of it as a dock mate or extender.

Bit plain for the price. Does the job, sturdy and not had any tilting issues. Can play with controller whilst sitting in the dock.

The Steam Deck is an awesome bit of kit, but it’s not a petite item, and so constantly takes up space on tables bedside cabinets, etc. This stand has been the perfect solution for space management, and it now looks cool whenever I lay my Deck down (as opposed to just taking up space, generally looking left around, and untidy). I’ve seen some people leaving negative feedback, they apparently thought they were getting the hub that can be purchased separately 😂, but there is nothing but positivity about this item… it’s a stand for the Steam Deck… and it stands in it! Oh, and, it’s also cool looking!

If like me you have a grip/protective case on your steam deck you will have shared my frustration at having to remove it if you wanted to use the dock. This eliminated the need to remove the case. It simply slides over the dock but keeps the deck secure and in place at the same time. Highly recommend

Bought due to steam deck dock being a bit thinner than the Rog Ally which I had bought after owning the Steam Deck but liked the dock so wanted to keep hold of it. Even though isn't the much does do the job it sets out to achieve. Has a good build to it and it sturdy under the weight of the console, also it a tight but secure fit so won't have to worry about dock falling out of the stand

I got mislead by the advertising of the product, thinking it comes with an actual dock that includes usb / hdmi connectors. Other than that... it's alright... it's a piece of metal with rubber bumps.
