TLDR; Works great as a deodorant not an antiperspirant, but ability to withstand sweating varies depending on scent. Woody musk & aqua fragrance have performed better with a lot of sweating for me than white jasmine and no fragrance. --- For background about myself, I take medication that causes me to be excessively sweaty (if you take SSRIs you may relate). Like I drip buckets and sweat like no other. You cannot possibly imagine the amount of water I consume to stay hydrated. However, I don't like antiperspirants and most do not work for me. Therefore, I am only judging these deodorants on their efficacy as a deodorant and how well they withstand sweating. I have used all kinds of deodorants on the market. Lume, carpe, secret, dove, arm & hammer, old spice, saltair, megababe, native, schmidt, degree, mitchum, just to name a few. If it exists, I've probably tried it. Most antiperspirants containing aluminum and deodorants with a base of baking soda have not worked for me. They either aren't effective at removing my body odor and/or they do not last long enough and I have to reapply. Because I am super extra unimaginably sweaty, reapplying is a whole process of wiping dry and cleaning the surface before reapplying. It's really annoying and inconvenient, especially because I live in Texas. Because of this, my preference in deodorant is acid-based deodorants! Although I am still super sweaty, I find that acid-based deodorants best neutralize my body odor for an entire day, even if I spend the day outside sweating basically non-stop. In my experience, glycolic acid doesn't mesh well with my body chemistry, by mandelic acid works great, ymmv. My previous deodorant I loved is the Saltair Serum deodorant, but it's more expensive and has been more difficult for me to find because it's only at select Target stores. The convenience of the Chemist At Play Mandelic Acid deodorant has made it my all time fave and is currently a staple. I've been consistently using this brand of deodorant for over 7 months and I have tried 4 scents: no fragrance, aqua fragrance, woody musk fragrance, and white jasmine fragrance. My absolute favorite is Woody Musk and I've repurchased it. I like the smell and it effectively deodorizes me for the length of a day. I usually do not need to reapply. A 5/5 from me all day every day. My second favorite is the Aqua fragrance. It's not my favorite scent (not that it smells bad, just not my preference, it's a really masculine scent) but it still works great. It keeps any body odor at bay and usually doesn't require reapplication. As a deodorant, I still give this one a 5/5 objectively, but my personal opinion for the fragrance bumps it to a 4/5, personally. I'd still suggest anybody considering to try to themselves. I did finish the bottle myself. The final two, White Jasmine and No Fragrance are iffy for me. White Jasmine smells really good and feminine but I've found it to not last as long as woody musk or aqua fragrance. This requires reapplication and smell checks if I'm sweating a lot. No fragrance is truly no fragrance unlike other "no fragrance" deodorants. However, I have the same issue where I find it doesn't last quite as long either. I still use both if I'm not expecting to sweat much but they're more or less just backups I plan to use til empty and not repurchase. I'd give these 2 specifically a 3.5/5 stars. I think I'd only suggest these if you don't sweat too much.

i have a very sensitive skin and I tried so many deodorants that didn't work at all.i finally found chemist at play underarm roll on .it works perfectly with my sensitive skin no irritation without leaving any stains on my shirts and on top of that the white jasmine one I ordered smells so good and last more than 24 hours.don't hesitate go for it and you won't regret

Sometimes in life we find a small product that will improve our experience so drastically that we can never be the same again. Ladies and gentlemen, this is such a product. Let me explain. I live in Missouri. Many people do not realize Missouri's climate is classified as "humid subtropical" until the summer hits and then we all understand to our core. This is the wettest year on record. 70-95 percent humidity every day, with the exception of five days, since June first. Nearly two months of he'll! So when I saw that this product was made by and for the folks that live in India, I was very excited and thought it could stand up to a wet Missouri summer. OH MY GOD! I can, and have for the sake of proving my point, bury my face in my armpit and breathe in as hard and deeply as possibly at the end of a long day. I am a maid. These days are sweaty, believe me! I got the jasmine because I wear jasmine perfume. The smell is initially very strong, but fear not. It fades incredibly fast to leave a neutral to subtly jasmine smell, but the protection lasts literally all day. I've used tons of "natural" or aluminum free deodorant and this is the single one that lasts all day. All. Day. Even if I don't shower that evening, I don't smell in the morning from sleeping in the still hot air. There's no residue, no rub off on clothing, nothing. I've found NOTHING wrong or lacking in this product. In fact, I feel like the scientists studied my own body chemistry to make it just for me. That's how good it works. I'm genuinely deliriously happy about this product. Now to be clear, it is not an antiperspirant, but that's okay. Sweat. It's good for your body. Relax. You won't stink afterwards! Of course everyone has different body chemistry, and I'm so sorry if it doesn't work for yours. Please give it a shot, though. If it does work for you, this will absolutely be the last deodorant you ever try. AND YOU CAN WEAR IT WITH A SLEEVELESS BLACK DRESS! Oh, I love this product. It has set me free.

I have tried SO many deodorants (*not antiperspirants*) and this one is the BEST I have found. I literally have an entire cabinet full of aluminum free deodorants I have tried, some expensive and some not, but each and every single one has something wrong with it. Either they do not keep odor away at all, they burn my underarms, they don't smell good, they are too chalky or wet or thick or stain my clothing, etc. I truly believe that the acid in this roll on is what kills the odor causing bacteria and keeps it away for hours. I do sweat a lot and it smells bad. Even right after I shower and scrub my pits clean, I can sometimes still smell the BO. It has been years and years of a struggle to find the right deodorant for my body chemistry. I first tried the scented version of this and while it worked, I did not enjoy the scent and felt it was too strong and interfered with my perfume. This unscented version is what I have been looking for all along. After showering, I dry my armpits and roll this on a few times, then let it dry for a few minutes before getting dressed. Yes, you do have to let it dry because it is a liquid but once it is dried it does not stain your clothes or rub off. I will certainly take the few minutes a day to properly apply this over BO. I do have to say that if I wear it everyday for about a week, it does start to make my armpits a little red and itchy, but then I just take a break for a few days and it's fine. I also tried the Drunk Elephant mandelic acid sweaty pitti and while I initially loved that, it burned my armpits eventually and made them itch intensely so unfortunately, I can no longer use that one. This one by Chemist at Play I have been using for a long time and have not had that reaction. I can usually get through most of the day without BO while using this product and I just hope they never stop making it!! I just ordered 3 more so I am well stocked for now.

This is AMAZING!!! So it's not like I have body odor or something BUT it is one of my fears is too have stinky armpits. Living in Florida and being active you tend to sweat a lot! I've tried all different brands from Native which will not hold up through lume - which is good don't get me wrong but this brand I feel beats Lume! It is a Rolon which I'm not used too and it is pretty small container which kind of surprised me but this definitely prevents stinky pits! And I am not an old person lol I am no it sure why that is in the description but I guess I'm a few decades I might (hopefully not) find out what that old person smell is! So don't let that steer you away from considering trying this product! I am beyond impressed with it! Oh and the scent I don't smell any honestly. And if there is one it is not bad at all. Five stars for sure ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

These are great. Have no issues with under arm odor anymore. I havent noticed any changes to underarm color. The only thing Ive noticed is some stinging when applying sometimes.. usually just in the days after shaving, but thats really to be expected. They are easy to apply and in my experience dont really need to be reapplied often throughout the day. They are very strongly scented, though, so be prepared for that. It fades after some time and leaves a long lasting fainter scent, but it does compete with perfume or cologne at first. I used the Woody Musk for a long time before my curiosity got the better of me about Royal Oud. It smells amazing! Those 2 are more unisex/masculine scents. I want to try jasmine next. Id recommend these to anyone wanting an aluminum free deodorant that keeps body odor well at bay.

Seems effective at odor control, but the scent is very strong. I got “Aqua Fragrance” and it has a very strong musky, almost male-presenting scent. I don’t hate the sense, but I’m a bit sensitive to strong smells (for reference, if I spend more than 30 minutes in the makeup section of a department store, I tend to get a little ‘headachey’) and had to shower it off before the end of the day. But I guess the good news in that is that it was still working to mask B.O. after a long stressful day 🤷🏻‍♀️

It is a nice product. I been using this for a while now. It does help with dark underarm and prevent odor. It is very gentle, lightweight and long lasting. It does not stain any clothes as it absorb very quickly.
