Strips for the AgaMatrix (Wavesense) Presto glucose monitor. I have very simple needs. Glucose resistant with parents and grandparents who had type 2. My A1C had crept into the "pre-diabetic" range. Doctor wanted to place me on medication but I asked for another quarter to turn things around. I really wanted to avoid the adverse health effects and medications that come with a diabetes. I had a Wavesense monitor sitting in my cabinet for several years. Monitoring once daily keeps me on the straight and narrow, and my quarterly A1C has fallen from 6.4 to 5.1 over the past 18 months. Of course I did the work in changing my diet, but the Presto BG monitor is very affordable and accurate tool to assist in meeting my personal health goals. No code is a great bonus for ease of use. I have a target brand onsync meter. Unfortunately, target no longer carries strips since they changed over pharmacies. These work fine with my meter, and are actually cheaper than buying at target. The meter itself is very simple, and very consistent with readings. The strips use 0.3micro liters which is about the smallest sample size you can find in meters. I rarely get error codes with these, even if I don't seem to get enough on the strip. I almost cried when I found out target stopped selling my strips, cause I really love this meter and didn't want to have to buy another.
