Very sturdy construction. Easily supports 200+ lbs without any sagging or warping. Did not use stabilizing "legs", but they drop down 2.25 inches below the bottom edge of the seat. Would probably work well in keeping seat from shifting to the right or left. We keep the seat at the back of the shower resting on the two sides and back edge of the tub next to the wall. The bottom of the seat has some anti-slip pads, that seem to work well at keeping the seat from sliding around.

This is the best designed shower seat that I have ever owned. It adjust perfectly to the shape of the tub, so that can be slid almost completely to the back of the tub adjusting to the tubs curvature. Once adjusted it is absolutely secure.

Package was absolutely destroyed, but the item appears ok. Item was not delivered to the location in our instructions.

This seemed to be a great bench until I realized how cheap the hardware is that they use to attach the legs. The attachment screws are made of cheap plastic that break with very little pressure. A great bench other than that, but the legs are a vital component for the safe use of the product. Don't waste your money.

I’ve had three years of broken legs. A shower without wrapping a leg is a distant memory. Plus, when I close my eyes in the shower, I lose my balance. I tried one of the large chairs, but it took up a lot of room in a small bathroom, it was hard to move , and had a tendency to spread water on the floor. I ordered this seat, and it was a) easy to put together; b) simple to install, c) sturdy, and d) reasonably priced. Not everything has to be fancy or complicated, and this was neither. It just works. 5 stars!

Does not take up a lot of space, or have to be moved around. Solid weight. Very easy to sit on while washing, and has enough texture to minimize sliding around.

This fit on our old claw foot tub and was extremely secure. It doesn’t slide around or feel unstable. I’m very satisfied with the results and purchase!

I bought for my senior mother who has suffered a fall recently. This is a great bench that can be secured on a standard tub setting (one side is open, the other side against the wall). No fuss installation, easily be removed by lifting up to clean or dry as desired. Quality is good and feel very sturdy, the weight of the board is substantial, it doesn't feel like it can break upon weight easily.

This item was very expensive. I ordered it. It never came!
