High qaulity, really bright and shines clearly up to 4km during the day, 13km at night (personally tested and results may vary). Really good price for what you get. Best to use a SC/UPC to connect to the VFL.

This VFL pen has been a life saver for fault finding and the extra mw up front he original 10 to 30 have made a huge differences with some of the sites I have to work on. Couple drawbacks: 1) the extra power i have found the need to replace batteries more often. This does fall in line with point 2. 2) I feel this and most VFL pens need either a lock off or a twisting upper body to protect the on/off button. I know of one brand which has this. Just found that couple times ive looked in my pocket or passenger seat and the switch has been knocked and its been turned on for God knows how long which as you would know, drains battery. This wouldn't be a reason not to buy, just a possible design improvement. Otherwise product is great and dies exactly what's required.

Did not even go 500 metres. Most of my jobs are between 3-5km in distance, which according to the description of this item shouldn't be a issue. I had to return it as it wasn't good enough

Funktioniert einwandfrei, konnte dadurch erkennen dass der Fehler nicht am Glassfaser Kabel liegt sondern an den SFP. Toll damit hat mir das Gerat definitiv weitergeholfen. Die negativen Äußerungen anderer Kommentare kann ich nicht bestätigen.
