The weather is frequently wet and we come back with boots full of mud in the treads. In the past, it's been a lot of banging and scraping but we still have to sweep frequently to get the mud pieces up that inevitably end up on the floor. I bought this to see if it would help - boy did it! It has screws to screw it down to a deck if you want - I screwed it to a piece of 2x10 long enough that you can stand on one end of the board while you scrape your other boot and it's portable that way. It also turned out to be handy for simply picking it up, turning it upside down and banging the mud and gunk out of the boot scraper without needing to hose it off all the time. This thing really scrapes out the tread in your boots. Last yr was the first time we got to use it and we had several inches of snow followed by warming, which meant mud/snow/leaves mixed and a mess. This thing made all the difference in keeping the inside of the house much, much cleaner. I'll be buying another one if we manage to wear this one out, which I suspect will take a while; it's well made. Review: Good little boot scraper. - It’s a great boot scraper to set by the front and back door to get the loose grass, leaves and dirt off of your shoes for the $. The brushes on the bottom make a difference, some of the ones we had seen in the stores didn’t have the bottom brushes only the sides. My husband attached it to a concrete block to make it super sturdy. Works well.

Excellent Boot Scraper
Why didn't I think of this product years ago? That's a rhetorical question. I do a lot of yard work and I have a big vegetable garden. I was always tracking mud in the house. I bought this product and placed it right outside my garden and it works great. Perfect for getting all that garden mud off my boots and I can toss the mud back into my garden! It's mobile too with the four metal anchor rods that you can pound into the ground to keep it in place. I move this boot scraper between my garden or just right outside my garage door if I'm doing regular yard work and it's muddy outside. I highly recommend this product.

Well Made
I purchased some rubber boots from Amazon a few weeks ago so I could wear them while cleaning our dog kennel. The boots work great except the bottoms get muddy, etc. Therefore, I purchased the Rhino Bilt Boot Scraper to clean the mug off my boots. I'm still deciding the best place to mount the boot scraper.

I rarely do reviews, but this product earns it! We live on property with barnyard animals, mud, muck, and all that entails. Although we have a no-shoes-in-the-house policy, there was still that entryway zone where we swapped to slippers - the muck was coming In. My. House! Double door mats (inside and out) weren't enough, because they don't really clean out tread. This simple, EXTREMELY well built boot scraper installed just outside my door has been a total gamechanger! I especially love how easy it is to clean. The thoughtfully designed drain holes let you just blast the caked up brushes with a hose, and boom! Good as new, with the muck running out the ports and away. I do find that the nature of using stiff bristles as a scraper means some splatter; I expect to have to rinse off my adjacent siding, when I hose out the scraper, too. I can live with that in exchange for having the scraper a single step from the entryway, and it's not a reflection of this excellent product. I mention it merely because other folks might wish to site their scraper further away from things that can get splattered. Softer bristles wouldn't really clear out boot tread, anyway.

RUGGED / EASY TO INSTAL
I mounted this to concrete outside my garage. It is by far the best I've bought and highly recommend. I attached a perma-deck board to the concrete, then attached this to it, so I can change out later without damage to concrete. The perma-deck board will last forever, and saves the concrete. It is so rugged and easy to use. I have size 11 1/2 Wide shoe. Works GREAT for me!!!

Good quality, assembly could use a bit more attention.
This boot scraper is well designed and easy to modify/repair. Nice, heavy duty powder coated steel frame. Strong bristles pull dirt off well. Side brushes are too far apart for hiking boots or my wife's boots, so I had to modify the scraper by adding spacers between the frame and side brushes. The design made this straight forward. Also, the middle bottom brush was mounted off center, so wouldn't brush the edge of your boot well. Again, the design made it easy to remove, center and re-mount. Good product, but may need a bit of tweaking/customization.

(Updated) Falling Apart and Can't Get Lifetime Warranty Repair
So it turns out that the warranty for this product is not provided by the manufacturer but by the distributor. I was contacted by a very pleasant customer service rep who asked for my details and said the would address the problem. Imagine my surprised when new boot brush arrived - I only expected for the one defective brush to be replaced. It was frustrating figuring out who needed to be contacted by once I connected with the right person, my expectations were exceeded. ((I purchased this product on April 8th of 2020, now, 8 months later and some of the brush bristles are falling out and one of the bottom brushes is totally bald. (see photo). I have located the manufacturer's webpage and attempted to call the listed customer service number but that number goes to a voicemail account for a different company. I have also sent two emails to the email address listed on RhinoBilt's webpage and those have not been answerer for two weeks. I have not had a positive experience with either this product or the manufacturer.))
