I really like the look of this knock box on my countertop. The wooden lid looks great, and it holds a lot of used pucks. The white does show the occasional coffee drips, but it cleans easily.

I had my eye on this for a really long time as it is aesthetically pleasing for my counter. I was really drawn to the walnut lid only to discover when I purchased the item that it was plastic. Which is outrageous for the price. There are far higher quality lockboxes on the market for a fraction of the price. This item was returned immediately.

It supposed to be a very elegant knock box visually. However, like a lot of people said...the material is based on plastic, so it looks cheap even though the price is very dear compared to other knock boxes. I like the idea of the knock box with a lid though.

I bought this in January and it’s now August. It molds so quickly. The wooden lid is compromised and the knock bar is destroyed. It’s plastic not ceramic as they described. I gave it two stars because it does look nice and has held up to 7 months of banging. Other then that I’d get a cheaper one replace every 6 months then spend $60 on this one.

The bar on this knock box is metal covered in rubber. This rubber sheath deteriorated and started coming apart a little over a month after purchase. It is still usable but I am concerned that my portafilter is going to get damaged banging it on what is a bar metal rod. It is not a replaceable part. I would not buy this again!
