a must have pedal foot switch, lock together more then one, built well,works great. i use them for my keyboard and my guitar pedals Great product

It appears to be a genuine product and works as it should. Amazon really needs to work on their packaging, though. The product's box looks like it has been abused a bit. Fortunately, the product was not damaged. This should have been shipped in a box, not an envelope and squished into the locker. BOSS products are pretty rugged and can withstand quite a bit of abuse.

This little device has been a game changer. We have the Electro Voice Evolve EV50M system. I read in a forum that I could use this foot pedal to toggle on/off the reverb/delays used for our vocals when we speak between songs, and it it works perfectly. We use a 10ft 1/4 inch instrument cable between the pedal plugin on the EV50M system and just plug it in to this foot pedal. When it is lit, vocal effects are on, when not lit, the vocal effects are off. Simple as that. Just tap on it with your foot. Before, we had to hit the mute button on our ipad to mute the vocal effects. This works so much better ... and it is not noticeable at all from the audience when turning the effects on and off. 5 BiG stars.

I bought this first not realizing you need a "Momentary" pedal in order to change presets/patches on a multi fx unit. It is confusing and even after hours and hours of scouring the Internet trying to find a clear answer I got both yes you can, and no you can't. So when I saw "Yes you NEED a latching pedal to change presets" it made sense to me seeing Unlatching/Momentary switches require you to keep the switch pressed down for the effect to go and stay on, and then release the switch to turn the effect off. And even Boss support told me it could be done with this pedal but not in my experience and I tried everything (worked but kept scrolling through patches until pressing switch again). So it's different with changing patches/presets on a multi fx device. This is a great and high quality pedal but if you need something to switch presets/patches on your multi FX unit you will want to get the LS-5U (worked perfect for Boss GT1000CORE). I learned the hard way but at least now I know and hope this helps and saves somebody else all the trouble I had to go through :(

I bought this for my Blues Cube, and I could not be without it. Wish the amp came with this and a cover, but had to buy both separately. This switches between the clean channel and the crunch channel. This is vital during a live gig. I hardly use my overdrive pedal now. And all you need is a standard 1/4 inch cable.

I have a set of Adam Audio T series monitor speakers in my studio. One of the features of the subwoofer is that you can control its on/off status with a footswitch. This allows you to switch the subwoofer in and out of the mix while you are reviewing your output. This footswitch works very well for that purpose and I am very happy with the product. It has enough weight that it stays in place and you don't have to worry about it getting lost under the console.

Love this foot switch, have it hooked into a tu1000 boss stage tuner, so i never half to hit the switch on the tuner. You know when your playing you get carried and stomp on it sometimes, better kill the switch than the tuner. battery life it's the greatest but batteries are cheap compaired to the tuner. Only thing i don't like you have push the switch twice for on and off. Although it does have a little light to tell you. But other than that i'm pleased with it.

I LOVE the fact that it is illuminated when turned on. It sounds very clean when bypassed as well. This on/off pedal runs off batteries so that might be a turn off for gigging musicians but I use mine as a bypass switch for my sub-woofer connected to my monitoring system in studio so it’s perfect for me.

I bought this because I was sick of leaning over to switch between my clean and distortion canal on my boss katana 50, it does the job and my back is thankful

Works perfectly for switching off gear remotely - solid construction and has a switch for polarity.

I use the footswitch to control the simulated Leslie speed on my Nord Stage 4. I have to click twice to go from fast to slow and vice versa. I d'ont know if this is the normal functionality of the switch. However, it's nice, well built, looks good... as all Roland / Boss do.
