Good product. Works well. Used it to tidy up and make easier to use my 25mtr 2.5mm orange caravan power lead. Took off the caravan end socket fed it through the centre hub and out through the side small reel. Left 1.5mtr free enough to plug into the caravan inlet, put the blue plug socket back on. Wound up the remaining 23 odd mtrs which easily fits and bingo a tidy cable. Can arrive on site put reel next to van inlet walk to the site power post pulling the cable after me pull out ALL the cable. Plug into van plug into post and switch on. Tuck reel under van bingo. Ready to leave disconnect at post then at van put 1.5mtr tail around the two small reel flanges hold blue plug socket in place with some rubber bungee cord or maybe Terry clips and wind up main cable Easy. The reel will easily take more cable if you needed a really long lead 2.5mm extension i think 40 or maybe 50mtrs . For 1 or 1.5mm lawnmower 50mtrs will easily go on. PS for motorhomes or caravans you should only use 2.5mm core cable due to volt drop and to meet fusing regs. 16amp supply fuse on most sites is too high for 1.5mm cable. Great empty reel . I have just ordered another for 40mtr of 2.5mm three core for general use much easier than fighting a big hand wound coil.

A good idea yet bulky. It could come with a cable tidy for the money, and delivery takes an age.

Much better than the ordinary cable winders, which hurt my hands because the plastic is rough. This one is much easier. Wish it could weigh a bit less.

This item is small, and I mean tiny, I tried to place my hose on this and it didn't get halfway ! For a very small hose or a very small garden this would actually be ok, very sturdy, good customer service and all in all a great item if you have a very small garden. They should really place an idea in their description of how much this hose reel will take, it was quite comical trying to fit my hose onto this tiny item but it may be perfectly fine for smaller gardens. Solid, well made just a small item unfortunately.

i store 100 ft stainless steel garden hose on it no problems with it just right.

Wasn’t suitable for my hose pipe even though the description appeared to say it was

Great empty winding reel we used it for a small part of one of our hose. It's sturdy, good quality and easy put together plus it's weights in fine not to heavy Or to light weight. Very pleased we bought it.
