too much effort to be consistent & effective
takes to much effort and focus to be effective. not worth it for a guitar accompaniment anyway

Not enough control, too touchy
I am a steady working musician that enjoys a good beat when doing solo, I purchased a Cajon with a pedal that I can play along with my guitar. That being said, I bought this thinking I’d get the same results. It sounds good when it’s activated exactly the same way with your foot every time it’s pressed, if you move your foot slightly or don’t hit it just right it won’t have the same volume thus loses punch. I would say it’s a little too difficult to concentrate on where you’re placing your toe while strumming and singing, it would be great if it was as consistent as my Cajon sound.

Quality
I love this thing. It adds a lot to my solo acoustic gigs. My only knock on it is that I have to take the batteries out when not in use or they drain quickly.

Kick what!
Good sound and inexpensive kick unit for the money.

Hardly audible unless amp turned up to near max.
Also inconsistent in pressure sensitivity to trigger sound with foot. Great idea, just poorly executed.

Good sound, trigger is flakey.
I like the sound this makes, but the trigger is pretty flakey. Sometimes it won't hit and other times it's full volume. It also eats the battery. I wish it had a DC cable because it will get expensive over time. I'll probably get another kind to replace it.

Poor quality - fails after a few uses
I am a professional musician and I bought this product for performing foot percussion. It lasted for 2 shows, failing in the middle of the second one. I need to check out the two year warranty. Overall, it didn't have great sound anyway. If you are planning to use it for performing, spend the extra 80 bucks and get a Roland SPD::ONE Electro Pad. Way better quality and performance. I plan to switch all my Meinl stomp boxes over to Roland.

Just doesn’t work well
If I could pick zero stars, I would. Activation pad was sporadic at best. Had to find a sweet spot to make it work-and never really did.
