Unique capabilities and rock solid performance.
I'm a big fan of all Shelly products. I was extremely frustrated when I tried the first one (I now have about a dozen). I finally realized that I was overthinking the installation and interfacing it to Hubitat. Now I realize that they are super simple and very reliable. Love the ability to power with DC voltage in remote locations.

Good value, rock solid, can be a bit complicated to wire
I love these Shelly devices. Some people complain about QC or longevity of these but I have had one in my espresso machine since 2020 and it goes through a daily heat cycle next to the boilers in there and still works great. Least fussy IOC devices I have really. My only complaint is that the terminals need to be bigger to fit stranded cable more easily.

Excellent and highly versatile
Shelly has so many different relay models that it was hard to know where to start at first. In my new home, I wanted to use a mix of standard light bulbs and smart bulbs, but I wanted to be able to control all of them via Home Assistant. Using smart switches made that difficult, since it is rarely a good idea to put smart bulbs and smart switches together. Enter Shelly. This relay works perfectly with Home Assistant and is flexible enough to work with standard bulbs and smart bulbs, all of which are connected to standard, low-cost dumb light switches. I will be using these relays (the UL listed ones) throughout my new house. The power monitoring is a nice feature as well, but you can save money and get the relays that don't include power monitoring. These can also act as Bluetooth proxies in Home Assistant, which will be very useful, but I haven't tried this yet.

Excellent for home automation and power monitoring.
I ask for more of these every Christmas. They are great for home automation and power monitoring. They are a programmer's dream with so many adjustments that I find it hard to believe they are so cheap. And they are small enough to fit in existing electrical outlets or switch boxes.

Works on WPA3 only WiFi, but reported power and energy miscalculated
Update: after having one of these deployed for a bit, I am having a bit of an issue with the reported power and energy flowing through the device being randomly 20-75% lower than what they should be. Volts and amps match my multimeter/clamp ammeter values to within 1.5% or so, and are reasonable for the motor in the circuit. But the calculation for power going to the motor (and the kWh used derived from this) is unrealistically low! Firmware 1.4.2 in use at the moment. We'll see what Shelly or their forums say about it. I have updated all the APs in my house to be WPA3 only. It's been a nightmare trying to find smart appliances that don't only speak WPA2. Fortunately, these little guys do join a WPA3-SAE based network no problem. They are 2.4ghz only though. Included firmware did not have the advertised web portal for device setup. Had to use the Shelly Android app to get them onto my Wi-Fi. But, once I updated the firmware to the latest, the web portal worked after a factory reset. Great and easy integration with Home Assistant. Max wire size is 14AWG, and they are not kidding about that being the maximum. Neither 12AWG solid nor stranded will allow the clamp screws to engage. Impressed by how small these things are. But they do make a surprising amount of heat even with no current flowing through them. Oh well I guess smart homes aren't efficient homes...

Great Product and Easy to Install
I purchased this smart relay switch as a way to safely connect three patio ceiling fans to one wall switch and be able to program when to turn on & off. I must say I was a little intimidated at first because this small device goes behind your wall switch in electrical box. The wiring directions were very simple as well as connecting to my I-phone app that allows me to control the fans - including Alexia. I highly recommend if you have a similar situation.
