Having played around with various center channel speakers, including some popular models, they seemed little better than running a phantom center. The "crystal-clear" sound was still lacking. Then, Electronics Expo tempted me to try one more time. Turns out that the DM10 operates at an altogether different level. As one reviewer noted, this speaker elevates the cinematic experience. The entire system sounds better. I just never realized the overwhelming content that is pushed to the center. And only with a highly capable speaker can you experience it.

The DM30 is a fantastic center channel speaker. Every nuance in dialogue captured. You will be amazed at what you've been missing in lesser center channel speakers. I purchased DM20 first, which is less expensive, but returned it. If your budget can be stretched beyond the DM20, I highly recommend the Definitive DM30. Premium flagship speaker, packaged with great attention to detail. Complements and greatly enhances my existing Definitive system inclusive of Definitive Mythos ST left and right tower speakers. Extremely pleased, my 5.1 home cinema experience is vastly improved with the addition of the DM30. Crystal clear dialogue at any volume.

I initially purchased my first DM20 to replace my larger CS9040 center channel with the purpose of getting my sound stage better aligned with current layout specs. This speaker fitted in so we'll i decided to replace my rear surrounds with two more. I'm pretty impressed with how well they bring the sound even more out. The sound is so clear with no noticeable distortion and works well with my D11s completing the front sounds stage.

Sounds excellent, Crystal clear and the passive radiator design and implementation extends the bass response so that voices and dialogue are rich and full. I've tried the larger centers with built-in radiators and found them not necessary in a home-theater system with properly placed and calibrated subwoofers, as you set the crossover high enough so the powered built-in subs are basically bypassed. This speaker fits the bill in my 7.2.4 home theater system (and it greatly helps I got it on a Black Friday deal at only 200 rather than the list or even normal sale price)

Absolutely insane sounding . My theater was all martin Logan 25 years old that piece by piece had to replace so I switched to DT . The center speaker was the last thing to replace so now I’m all in DT. One of the tower bp900 had bad amp that was out of warranty and they still sent me a replacement with excellent support .

60 years ago I was bit by the Audio bug. 25 years of that in home theater. I guess you’d call me an audio-file, if there’s such a thing. In the home theater set up the most important speaker is the center. For years I have been searching for the right center speaker. The trick is the right balance between quality and money spent…without going into a lot of specs and jargon. This is absolutely the best center speaker that you’ll invest in. Nothing comes close and I mean nothing. It backs everything off the map, no matter the name or the cost.
