well packaged, robust does not feel like a cheap tendon hammer and the price would suggest that (a bit expensive)

As a GP trainee my Clinical supervisor felt this was a bit over kill but it is nice to not have to run around the wards for one (and not find it) and also great not to use my stethoscope. The actual hammer it self feels of a very high quality. One would think you couldn't get excited by a tendon hammer .. but you can... Reflex's have never been so much fun! It consistently provides all the reflexes and has a not too sharp plantar reflex tip as well as a pead sized rubber tip too. Been waiting for this all my (medical) life.

amazing tool for a junior doctor. does not leave my bag. the ergometric shape is perfect to test reflexes and love the fact that you can check sensory. now I am super excited to perform a full neurological examination during my oncall. I am a GP and this is the most comfortable tendon hammer I have used. As with any change in equipment it takes a bit of practice (on your relatives of course). The rubber is soft and comfortable. The brush that unscrews from the sharp point is a bonus. The price is great too. Fits nicely in my bag as shorter than the classic long thin plastic one with a circular head.

It's my first reflex hammer so I can't really compare it to others. But it feels like a good quality product, the skewed weight of the device permits easy eliciting of reflexes. Havent used the cutaneous reflex brush just yet, but I can assume it will make life alot simpler.
